And the homeless shelter always needs canned goods, pasta, rice, beans, lentils,

etc.

Rest homes can use socks, slippers, magazines, robes and paperbacks.  Many of

the residents arrive with only a hospital gown on.

Don't forget  www.freecycle.org let's keep it out of the landfill as we make

space at home and help others and you never know what might be posted you can

use too.

Nice reminder, Donna! Just today I was thinking that I have to do something for

our local humane society. I live in a small town and they're always in dire

straits. It's a no kill shelter and they're always over run with animals. Wish I

could save them all.
