Hi Lawanna,

I'm sure you could sub it for another spice. Maybe

nutmeg. That's what mace kind of reminds me of. Or

you could just use all cinnamon.

Mace is part of the nutmeg plant so you might be better subbing it

with nutmeg.

Mace is the ground outer skin of nutmeg (skin between shell and nut),

so probably nutmeg would be the closest.
