Dear Ones..

It has been such a long time since I have written because I

have been busy relocating 3500 miles from Southern California

to Cape Cod, in Massachusetts.

 

I am not yet really settled in so this will be a very short

newsletter. But I want to tell you about an upcomimg wonderful

Health Expo that is well worth attending. It is the

Modern Manna Health Crusade in Lodi,

California. This is about 30 minutes south of Sacramento,

an easy drive from the San Francisco bay area.

And an easy flight from many parts of the country.

 

This will be my third year at this show. I will have a booth

there, and this year I will be demonstrating some

quick and tasty raw food recipes.(My talk will be called 1-2-3 Raw!)

The expo is not devoted only to raw food,

but there is a strong emphasis on eating raw food, and there is

ample raw food available at the food booth. For those of you who

want to have a high percentage of raw, but also eat some

cooked food, this is a perfect event to attend.

 

The past two years there has been the conflict of another

large raw food event at the same time, but this year that

isn't happening. The all-raw event in Portland Oregon

will be held at the end of August this year. More about

that later, as I find out the details.

 

Danny Vierra's Modern Manna Health Expo is by far my favorite

event each year.Why? for several reasons. Because it is free.

Because it is very well run. When there is a speaker, there

is that one speaker, no needing to choose between several

interesting options, you are able to hear

and see everyone that you want to see. There is plenty of

good reasonabley priced food available to buy and the grounds

are large enough to accomodate a huge crowd.

 

This expo has a strong religious aspect to it as Modern Manna

is a Seventh Day Adventist organization. If you do not want

to hear a religious message, don't attend.

Personally, I feel very uplifted at this event. I have been

very impressed by the speakers the past two years. Raw food

is a very strong theme.

The speakers are just wonderful, Danny is so inspiring and the

synergy of the group is wonderful. The weather at this time

of the year is usually very hot and dry.

 

The 100 or so booths are hand picked, not from the point of view

of producing income, but for their quality, integrity and variety.

It is an honor to be selected to have a booth

at the Modern Manna expo. You are bound to learn a great deal

not only from the speakers but also from the various booths.

You will see books and products that you have never seen before.

You will find out about retreats and classes you never knew about

before. You will meet sincere loving people that will add to

your knowledge base.

Upcoming newsletters

Shortly, I will be sending out a wonderful article that was

in the San Francisco Chronicle about a new raw food restaurant

and the impact it has made in the world of fine cuisine.

 

Then I will be sending an update about Seth, as many people

have asked me how he is doing.

 

There will be an article about a product that has helped Seth

a lot, written by his mom, Nancy.

 

Hopefully, I will be settled in more soon and be announcing

more events, and sending out the newsletter on a more

regular basis.
