Guest guest
Hello Doc, I can't take credit for the definition of a Veteran, nor can I find the author, but it hits home for me! I have a son who is a special ops pilot and has been deployed several times. I think I love the definition of a Veteran more so because of the poor treatment our government deals to them because I want the every day American to understand what it means to be in the military. It is dangerous, and it takes a lot of courage to sign up, especially today. I have seen too much sadness and despair for many of them in the recent wars who need help they cannot get. If I can at least help our former and current military members get the well deserved respect they have earned by a little blurb on my email, I feel I have done some justice for them in some way. Thanks for taking the time to comment about this. I appreciate knowing it has been well accepted by you. Guest guest
You are most welcome Diane. It is too bad that our precious vets have to bear the brunt of the idiocies of our politicians who've never fought a true battle in their lives. Any way, thanks for the explanation. Love, Doc Diane Mackey wrote: Hello Doc, I can't take credit for the definition of a Veteran, nor can I find the author, but it hits home for me!
