Guest guest
Hi Tucker, Welcome aboard. It is great to have you here, I hope you enjoy our merry little list. We have quite a few soap makers and fishers here, so I think you and the misses will be right at home Please don't hesitate to jump right into the conversations, or start a few of your own. <grinz> Have a great weekend - and happy fishing! *Smile* Chris (list mom) Last Day For The Vanilla Co-ops & Green Tea Seed Oil Pre-Buy! http://www.alittleolfactory.com tucker [tucker2] Hello to all. I'm a young 74 year old Canadian boy. I've been married to my child bride for almost 51 years, she's my best friend and a damn good fisherman as well. I have been making soap for almost six months CPOP and am having a ball. I make everything in 3 1/2 pound batches so if I mess up it's not a great loss. We live near a little town (Dunnville) in Southern Ontario Canada on the banks of the Grand River and as mentioned, we fish daily (weather of course permitting) Someone on one of the forums (THE WHISK) suggested I drop in " so here I are " and I'll be probably looking for a while before I have much to say. Thanks

Guest guest
Hi Christy, Glad to have you on board. I completely agree with you about having lots of choices and the need to educate ourselves so that the individual right ones for ourselves and our families can be soundly made. One thing I love about this list is the ability and opportunity to be exposed to many folks from around the planet (we have members in over a dozen countries that I am aware of, could be more than that even) who have a variety of interests and experience. I hope you enjoy it here, make yourself at home and jump right into the mix! *Smile* Chris (list mom) http://www.alittleolfactory.com On Behalf Of Christy Hello everyone! My name is Christy and I am a new member so I thought I'd introduce myself. I'm a 33yr old WAHM in Oklahoma and I love to spend time with my family, learn about new things and get to know new people. I personally feel that we all have many choices; we just need to educate ourselves in order to make the right ones for us, individually. I have long been interested in herbs and essential oils and finally have time to learn more about them. I'm hoping I can find some good information here so I can better myself, and the world around me. I'd also like to meet some like-minded individuals. Hope everyone is doing well and I look forward to getting to know you all! Christy Putnam

Guest guest
Hi Robin Welcome to the group! You have an interesting area to be living in!What does your hubby actually do?What do you do for work? I had a co-worker who raised Alaskan Huskies and raced them-very unusual. I am curious as to what type of jewlery you make?I may be interested in getting something.I have been wanting to make jewlery for the longest time!! I think you'll find soap making very obsessive,(in a good way)pretty soon all your relatives will be benefiting from your new skills.Once you start.......Calendula is a real nice herb to put in a soap and very healing(one of the best)it looks so pretty in a finished soap too.I use a coffee grinder to chop up herbs,it doesnt scratch the skin then when using the soap.Of course Lavender is wonderful also. So much to read and learn, never ending really I know you will enjoy this group Colleen >

Dave, You are too funny - I'm sure it's you, though, because you start all your posts with your name bracketed and your posts tend to have the same modest, self-effacing sense of humor :-). Nice to see you hanging aruond here - I look forward to learning much from you and all the others. Blessings & bubbles, Robin
Guest guest
This is for the group members. It is my way of thanking my 'higher power' for helping me. Because He helped me, I need to help others! Thank you, Erin. ==================================================================================================== Hello. I am in grad school for social work. While I know much of my work will require some form of treatment planning, resources, etc. I do not really believe in traditional psychology because it can only claim about a 50% success rate. Having tried several traditional therapies for my "inner child" to recover from sexual, verbal, physical, and emotional abuse (not to mention my food addiction from it)... I also had a history of suicidal thoughts because I thought nothing could help me. I was miserable and did not see any use of being here on earth. I had failed at many traditional programs and was desperate to finally get control over my own life. I had gone from relationship to relationship needing near-constant validation. My professor told me about a new program of an old science. I am skeptical by nature due to trust issues and I am more of a "see it to believe it" person but I was willing to try nearly anything!! My professor gave me a link to an e-book called "Myself Reborn E-Book" (you can probably find it by typing it in google). When I read those stories of others that had taken this "new" therapy and changed their lives I felt like all of their stories fit me (or someone I knew). I decided to check into it further and contacted the therapist (Treyce) for more information. I guess what really "sold" it for me was that she said I do the therapy from home, that I can remain 100% anonymous, and that she will not ask anything about my past - ever! I was so thankful for "no questions" because for the past 20 years I had to meet with different traditional therapists or psychologists who drilled me with questions and, quite frankly, I was sick and tired of repeating myself. So much so that I had even contemplating recording it and just playing it for the next traditional person I met. Treyce told me that the minimum commitment is six months but that it varies depending on how much "crap" I have to get rid of subconsciously. She did say the longest anyone stayed in her program was 2 years. Even so - compared to my 20 years in traditional therapy (with no results) - this was nothing! She then sent me a list of FAQ's about the program. I then decided to check her references, and "google" her. I found out that she is the creator of this program (and copyrighted it in 1987) and has had tons of clients of which every single one was 100% successful. I also found out that in 2006 she conducted a research project for the State of Texas. This research was "aimed at reducing juvenile recidivism rates" - again, 100% successful. There is more information online about that too. Her references were unbelievable! Some people were able to get off of psych meds completely, some people were domestic violence situations and this program made them get up and leave, health issues, stress, depression, suicide and more were 'cured' with this program. I found out that is works with kids too and I was shocked because, given my skeptic nature, I forced myself to say, "what do I have to lose?". The answer was "nothing" so I went for it. I was in her therapy for 11 months and then "graduated". I have had no binges with food, I have had better grades, better focus, no more self-hatred or self-punishment, I am no longer latently contemplating suicide, and am happier than I have ever been. Just before I found this program, I had prayed so hard, every day and every night for some help from my 'higher power'. Finally I had decided to talk to the professor (which I have NEVER done in my life about personal things!) and he immediately said, "I know what will work" and gave me the information. I believe in divine intervention and I was supposed to find this. Because I believe my higher power helped me, I feel that I am obligated to return the favor or to say "thank you" by helping others and telling them about it. Therefore - this powerful therapy is called "Handwriting Formation Therapy". I'm sure you said, "Yeah right" just like I did. However I am not saying that anymore. It is amazing but it is not easy by any means. No therapy will work unless you are self-committed and this one is no different. If my life sounds similar to yours please go to google and type in "Handwriting Formation Therapy" or "myself reborn e-book" for more information. If you have any questions I can answer from my own experiences. If it will help you or someone you know I'm glad to share with you. Feel free to contact me at ErinCefopro any time! Remember the most important thing is self-care but it can only begin with you! Wishing the best for you! Erin Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Try it now.
