I just got a dremel for my b-day ... oh all of the wonderful things I

can now create!!! :)

Anyone else have a dremel? If so what crafty things do you use it for?

I'm trying to get ideas here - I'm thinking about making terra cotta pot

luminaries, egg ornaments, carved wood, etched glass, decorative picture

frames, and more... :) Maybe I can clean and polish my swords with it

.... hmmmm .... I'm so excited!

Happy Birthday, Chris! Hope you've had a great day, and have a great

evening.

We got a dremel in late June. So far, the only thing we've used it for is

making a chess board as a Christmas giftt for my stepson. The board is

about half done (needs decorative touches, finish and attaching hinges to

make it fold) as we're trying to do it when he visits his mother.

Unfortunately, he hasn't seen her since early July, and she cancelled the

visit for next weekend. At this rate, we don't know when we'll get it

finished.

Happy Happy B'day to you... I use my Hubby's dremel tool.. if that is what

you mean... I had him use it to take off my Cast.. it was bugging me and it

was on the 4th of July~I knew I would have to sit hours in the Er and cost

me a arm and leg~ That dremel tool worked just fine :-)

Hope you had a beautiful day~

hugs~

Chris,

you're a lady after my own heart. I thought I was the only one who got excited

over tools. Year before last I ask for a mouse sander and a craftsman mouse

sander. I do have a dremil too. Love that thing. there isn't anything you

can't do with it. I went to a tool tent sale and bought the generic version of

the Dremil bits. You'd have thought someone had given me a diamond ring. I was

so excited. LOL Enjoy!!!

May your celebration exceed your expectations!

Yes I have a Dremel and was just at the hardware store

I want to get one for my dogs nails. Sure beats clipping.

Oh - you'll love the Dremel! My first project was a

big one - a totem pole! I then went into relief

carving. Then ostrich egg carving.

Even did a house number sign on an old hunk of wood.

Very rustic.

Whatever you create with it - I'm sure you'll enjoy

it!

Do you have a dog? Dremels are great for filing their nails (if they'll

tolerate the sound - some won't) . . . no sharp splinters to scratch you!

Happy birthday!!!

Hi Judy:

Sounds like you really had fun with your Dremel. My DH bought me one and I've

been too afraid to try it on anything yet. Now, I think I will. Heck, if I

make a mistake, I guess I can always just start over ! I'm glad you posted this

to the list.
