There is alot of pharmaceutical generated hysteria about CS.

Theoretically there is the possibiliy of agyria, which is greying or bluish color of the skin. It has no actual health effects other than effecting your appearance.

However, I have used CS for a decade without a problem. Everytime you see someone on the news who "turned blue," it turns out they were using silver chloride or some other compound. You need to make it correctly using pure silver electrodes and distilled water.

Also, you want to take it only as needed, don't overdose. You also shouldn't need more than 5-20 parts per million.

nothing but distilled water and a generator. Next to Garlic its

my favorite all purpose remedy.

Thank you all for the information. I would love to have some on hand, for emergencies. Where would one buy a reputable safe brand and how do you know how much to use?

Also I am also a big fan of garlic but how would you give a small child garlic to prevent or treat illness? Thanks!

Dear Mary,

Just do a google search on Colloidal Silver Machines. There are

several out there that are good, and they pay for themselves in just a

few months.

Perhaps some members have some Machines they'd recommend. I forget the

one we have here at Organic Solutions = Silver Puppy or something like

that.

They are not complicated and the simpler, the cheaper, the better in my

books.

Yes, the Silver Puppy is what I use. Its the least expensive of

the good machines- totally automatic. Set it and forget it. It

shuts itself off when finished. I make a 1/2 gallon at a time

for pennies. Try buying a 2 oz bottle. My first bottle cost me

over 20$ and was only 3ppm. What I make stays in the 12 to 16

ppm range. Do the math, my silver puppy paid for itself with

the first batch and then some.

 

Stay away from the ones using 9 volt batteries- you can't

guarantee the quality of the silver made from these, not to

mention that you cannot leave them alone and if not done just

exactly so they can and do explode.

For expert information on colloidal silver, go to www.silvermedicine.org.

When someone makes their own silver from water that has minerals or salts in

it, they run the risk of turning blue, which can be reversed with Vitamin E

and Selenium. Pure colloidal silver is made with DISTILLED (steam distilled

to remove all contaminants and minerals) water, and will not cause

discoloration of the skin.

 

You can buy colloidal silver from many online health stores, from several

companies. Pick the company you are most aware of that offers quality

products.

 

You should learn to make your own colloidal silver generator, or buy one,

because this will save you a ton of money. I made my own for about $30, and

make my own c silver, for the price of a gallon of distilled water.

 

My young nephews LOVE the C silver! They spray it in their eyes if needed,

up their noses for colds, on every scrape and cut they get, gargle with it,

and put it in their ears for aches (which by the way, since they all

suffered from ear aches, the first time they used CS, was the last time it

was put in their ears, they never got another ear ache!). It has no taste,

it doesn't sting, and they call it Aunti's Miracle Water.

 

None of us take it daily (but I did for two years, take 1 tbsp daily), but

use it when we have a need. I would never ever be with out it in the house.

 

I have no idea how you would get a kid to eat garlic. It's not something

you can really hide in food.
