Here is my homemade salsa recipe that was asked for. You will need: 1 Yellow onion 6 cloves of garlic 2 cayane peppers or 1 very long cayane pepper (the skinny red ones) 4 Tomato's Cilantro Salt Vinegar Lemon Juice Chop Onion like your making onion rings and peel the skin off the outer portion of the garlic. Place both on a cookie sheet and bake at 400 degrees for apx 12 mins - spray them with cooking spray first and sprinkle with salt. Bake to a brown roasted color. Remove and let cool. In the broiler part of your oven broil the tomato's for 6 mins on each side, the skin may curl. Remove. Let the tomato's cool In a food choper or processor on low chop up the Onion, garlic, salt (2 Tbsp) and cayane peppers. Scrape into a large mixing bowl. Now add the cooled tomatoes and 1/3 cup of cilantro and 1 tbsp of lemon juice to the chopper for 5 seconds. Scrape to lg bowl with the first mixture. Add apx 1tbsp of vinegar and stir . Add salt and vinegar as needed for taste. This makes about 2 cups of Med salsa.. For Mild only add one ayenne peopper or half of a long one. For Hot add 3 or more peppers hugs Deana >
