(DVD alone for $25) For this first class, I am offering a kit with 16 oils (in 5/8 dram (2 ml) bottles) ready to use at a birth in a padded carrier case that will fit beautifully in a purse or doula bag a home made chemical free cream (4 ounces) a bottle of prepared room spray for labor and delivery and training on how to use the oils etc. for MY cost of $125 per person. This includes the above product, prepared in the kit and ready to use! AND, a three hour class to learn about how to use oils and using them safely. Here is how it will work: I will accept PRE-PAYMENT for the kits. (check or money order.) When I get FIVE or more people that send in the $$, I will order the supplies and get it going. Once the product is ordered etc. --- I'll schedule a date. (Steph, can we use your office on a Saturday?) This class/offer will also work for women that are NOT doulas, but want oils for their OWN labors etc. If anyone else would like to offer suggestions, feel free. Oily Doula blessings! Do you know what Banner Desert's (Dobson/60) policy is on use of oils and/or sprays/lotions when delivering twins, particularly in a sterile environment, ie the OR? (Still need to figure out their whole process of where you labor and exactly at what point they move you to the OR...) Can this video easily be understood and applied effectively by (uneducated-in-the-sense-of-formal-massage-and-L & D-expertise) husbands? What are the 16 oils? Is it possible to purchase the cream and/or room spray separately? And do I understand correctly, the kit itself is $125, the DVD itself is $25, and to get both is $170? Thank you so much and have a blessed day! =) Carrie Carrie, Desert has two on staff Aromatherapists. They are VERY open to oils! (They even complimented me on my oils when my dad was at Desert for Colon Cancer a few years ago!) I am almost certain that oils in the OR are not allowed. Are you pregnant with twins? Yes, the video will be in Layman's terms. Yes the cream is $10 (it has no oils added, you will need to add some) yes, the room spray is $10. (I also offer an Aura Cleanser that is FABULOUS for $20...it is a more powerful ENERGETIC clearing tool, rather than just smell.) this FIRST time the class is $125...including the kit. I will be filming the class to create the DVD. the Kit with the DVD will be $170 for future...for people that can not come to the class. I will RE-do the class (without the DVD...Live instruction instead ) for $150 every few months...with the kit included in the price (Basically I'll make $25 per person to teach the class next time--- this time I am teaching for free...and to make the DVD) Jessica Jess, Where are you located again? I'm cross posting your info, great opportunity. Thanks for this service. I have a Perinatal Uses class with Ayurvedic overlay, full day or more on eoils from preconception through infancy, with 70 pages of notes. You have more hand's on experience in the labor room, for sure, and please put me on your list for the DVD. I'll forward to my (is it southwest area?) students and AyurDoulas when you have more info. PS, I'll be in Sedona 15th-17th this month, just in case there is chance for cross-over. A friend who may be reading this is there, will be very interested, I expect, in connecting.
