Dr Shrestha has developed formulations for an Ayurvedic pharmaceutical

company and will share her extensive knowledge of how to collect,

prepare, and purify common plant and mineral substances according to

Ayurvedic methods. This hands-on class will cover ways in which

preparation methods can be used to increase the effectiveness of herbs

and to render minerals safe, and which types of preparations are most

effective in which types of situations. Medicinal oils, chyvan prash,

purification of common minerals such as sulfur, and alcohols, cough

syrup, and other medicines will be prepared by class participants.

Cost: $475 or $425 if payment recieved in full by July 1st

PREREQUISITE: AYURVEDA 1.
