Guest guest
Hi. I am the author of a new book on enzyme therapy. It is designed to be very practical, describe how enzymes work, why they work, how improper digestion can cause many problems, about leaky gut, mixing suggestions, how to read enzyme labels, which enzymes go with which foods, and all the research supporting the effectiveness of enzymes. It is getting very good reveiws. The interwoven story gives it a different, and hopefully, more interesting and practical, angle. The best price is probably through www.amazon.com at the moment. Karen. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> New Book Brings Hope and Makes Life Easier for Those with Autism, Digestive, and Related Neurological Conditions The newly released 'Enzymes for Autism and other Neurological Conditions: A Practical Guide' by Karen DeFelice may hold some answers for those wandering the chaotic maze of autism and related conditions. Digestive enzyme therapy is one of the fastest emerging successful alternatives for people on the autism spectrum as well as other neurological conditions (such as PDD, sensory integration dysfunction, migraines, AD(H)D, food and chemical intolerances, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, autoimmune conditions, bowel dysfunctions, and leaky gut syndrome). This unique book recounts the compelling story of a group of families that latched onto a recent new breakthrough in digestive enzyme technology. The improvements were breathtaking. But then the real question came. Why was this working so incredibly well? The fascinating answers are revealed as the book documents how the vast array of apparently unrelated biological issues commonly associated with these poorly understood neurological conditions are addressed one by one by enzymes. It turns out there are years of scientific studies showing how logical, well-founded, and reasonable all these observed improvements were. Karen DeFelice deals comprehensively with all the information on digestive enzymes that parents or those new to enzymes need: how enzymes work, who may benefit, what to expect, practical tested advice on selecting and introducing the right kind of enzymes, and how this can be combined with other approaches and therapies. Reports of significant improvements in health, pain reduction, language, food tolerance, socializing and other benefits emerge daily. This insightful book intertwines an amazing adventure along with practical explanations of how to incorporate enzymes into everyday life. This is expertly balanced with a review of the extensive scientific research supporting this therapy. Karen L. DeFelice and her two boys deal with pervasive neurological and sensory integration dysfunctions, and have seen dramatic improvement in their conditions through the use of enzyme therapy. Karen has a Masters in Science, and works in education and the sciences. ISBN 0972591877, 367 pages, $18.95 Further information and availability at www.amazon.com, www.thundersnow.com/enzymebook.htm, and all major or regular bookstores. ### Questions are welcome. Guest guest
>>>> I know that you have been a long time member here. I hope that you will share your expertise with the members. Thank you. I will try to be helpful and pass along anything I can. My background is basically in plant and animal science, and it seems agriculture is a bit ahead of the human counterpart, although basic biology and chemistry work the same. Enzymes are well-studied and routine in ag, and also in some areas of with humans (such as the fields of cancer, arthritis, pain management, immune conditions) but it seems not as well known in the general population. I got interested in it because it helped my family, along with other measures. Karen.
