Guest guest Report post Posted October 16, 2007 I, too, have heard that magnesium will be of tremendous help to fibromialgia sufferers, BUT, be SURE to compliment it with calcium. About half the amount of magnesium to calcium ratio. This is very important. Magnesium can cause diarhea if overloaded into your system too quickly. 500 to 1000 of magnesium a day is a nice modest amount, but be sure to compliment it with 1000 to 2000 of calcium. I have heard of good results from a supplement which is more easily accessable, Magnesium Malate. The brand I'm familiar with, is Source Naturals Magnesium Malate, 1250 mg tablets, yielding 833 mg of Malic Acid. Guest guest Report post Posted October 16, 2007 Hi all, I don't suffer from Fibromyalgia, but a lot of my clients (midlife women) do so I'm always exploring holistic approaches. As with anything, I think it's important to address the CAUSE in addition to the symptoms. Consider a couple of ideas ~ adrenal fatigue and old, emotional pain manifesting in the physical body. There are many effective remedies but CELLFOOD is bringing women tremendous results. I have a great PDF on CELLFOOD and fibromyalgia. If you'd like it, just request it at: michelle Michelle http://www.HolisticMenopause.com

Guest guest Report post Posted May 19, 2008 I used to have fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue.. after I went to a naturopath, they went away. good diet, clear the environmental toxins and clear the candida... Not sure about the stones.. but you can always use a quartz and program it for whatever you want... I looked up what stone(s) to use for her but my books are older and don't have any refference to it. Neither do my books on colour healing. What stones would be good for this condition? Guest guest Report post Posted June 9, 2008 The first question to ask someone who has Fibromyalgia is do you eat/drink/chew products with artificial sweetners, most especially aspartame. A large number of cases of Fibromyalgia, MS, chronic fatigue syndrome, and a host of other chronic autoimmune disorders are really aspartame toxicity, and just removing it from your diet, and detoxing your body can help you return to good health. See: http://wnho.net/ and http://dorway.com for more info. It's also been found that consuming sucralose (splenda) in addition to aspartame or as a replacement to aspartame can actually increase the severity of the symptoms. Guest guest Report post Posted June 9, 2008 A lot of naturopaths feel that FM is a systemic yeast issue, a yeast infection of the muscle tissues. They've had great results using an alkaline program and specific probiotics for yeast (iFlora for Women is probably the best). Electrolyzed water and Covalent Silver Water have shown great results too. Trouble is....getting a good electrolyzed water machine is difficult. The best, so far, is an MLM product and the price is three times what it should cost. CS is also good for yeast....but Tony would know more about that. Some sell electrolyzed water, but you have to drink it right away since it starts to lose it's pH right away. David In a message dated 6/9/2008 11:30:39 A.M. Guest guest Report post Posted June 9, 2008 I went to a showing of that expensive Japanese Kangan water machine. It sounded impressive, and so was the price. I do believe in alkaline water, so I was researching and came up with this site. Of course--who do you believe? The Kangan guy said that all other companies machines did work, but none worked as good as theirs, nor lasted as long. This site (link below) says differently. But, if someone was wanting a good alkalizing machine, this seems very good, too, and much better in price. I'd like to get one eventually because from reading here it sounds better than the Kangen. http://www.waterforlifeusa.com/ Samala, Renee ---- Trouble is....getting a good electrolyzed water machine is difficult. Guest guest Report post Posted June 9, 2008 I can't afford one of those at this time and my chiro recommended Alkazone Alkaline booster drops. I check my salvia with litmus paper and I am in the zone. I really believe that there are products/food/meditation/exercise that all have access to that will allow us to heal. I can't afford the Utopia silver, nor can I drive a Mercedes or BMW. There are other things I can use...probably the most important is my own mind. JMO. Guest guest Report post Posted June 9, 2008 I suspect the merit of the electrolyzed water has less to do with the pH and more to do with the anti-oxidant effect of the electrons. If it were a matter of pH you could get the same effect by adding bicarbonate. In a like fashion, the low pH water that is the "byproduct" of the process is antiseptic, not because of its acidity, but because it creates oxidative stress in microorganisms .Mike Golden, D.C.
