Dear Friends:

Here's a wonderful discussion about some of the very deep, Principles and Philosophy of Astrology/Jyotish.

enjoy

Dear John & All:

A delightfl sentiment!

I'm also a student of the Maharishi's and revere meditation as one of the greatest techniques

of life-transformation possible.

Also, since 1988, I started studying Jyotish, and I agree with you, Astrology seems to have such a blessed ability at explaining the various flavors of Consciousness...which we assume have something to do with the Stars...

but...as our particular star flavors, pulsate within our own individualities & nervous systems, we do get a small glimpse as to the Cosmic mind!

Now, after all these years studying Jyotish, I see very precisely... how the Universe flows forth from the absolute, Oneness...and as it symetry breaks into all the multiplicities of the Universe, it's never ceases to amaze me that 'it' is still Astrological in Nature...

We can discover the Astrological nature of life, within our own charts, and then as we see the Cosmic rays flowing in all others,...we begin to see how all the Jyotish/Astrological configurations might express...the qualities and natures of the Absolute, it, her, hisself!

And to respond to your point about 'when will the wars end?'...

It's occured to me that the Earth is like a big school, where the lesson of the day is Mars or Jupiter....?

What is the relationship between Mars and Jupiter?

In other words, to what extent is Mars needed for life, and the natural fulfillments of desire...

or are there other, more sattvic ways of fulfilliing our desires?

After I had been meditating for a few years, I started to notice, my mind was clearer.

As a result I started noticing that I found more easy, effortless ways of fulfilling my desires...

Short of this experience, millions of individuals are researching if they can get away with fulfilling their desires through Mars means;

deception, lying, cheating, manipulation, slavery, fighting, taking...etc....

But, you're right there is a better way, and those of us who are lucky enough to have found it possible to fulfill our desires through Nature, utilizing...all these wonderful rhythms and laws of nature, ...are important testiment...to a better way....

So, we go to the top of the class,

so other's as well as ourselves can see, that there is a better way of living life....

Mars 101, is still in session, and all the class projects and assignments...are still....

being researched...

The Earth is just that school...lab where we get a chance to research each and every Astrological Planet...

Jyotish, however, gives us a school hint; think of the more highly evolved, status of each Planet.

Each one has a nature whether in it's Own Sign or even Exalted...and these highly evolved states teach us of those 'better ways' of doing each planet!

Great thought today, John.

Sincerely,

Mark Kincaid

PS....for those of you who haven't heard, I also write a Jyotish

newsletter. It includes a daily, Transits newsletter as well as other aspects

of Jyotish as well. If you, or anyone else in this group is interested, in

subscribing, feel free to contact me personally at: m.kincaid

> To all listmembers:

>

> As we study jyotish, we learn about Kala Purusha, the Cosmic Being.

> This Being pervades the entire universe as represented in our

> charts. It appears to me that the Kala Purusha can represent the

> Deity whom we believe in. It doesn't matter what religion we

> profess. The various devas discussed in the shastras can represent

> the various impulses supporting natural law.

>

> Yet, at the same time, the Kala Purusha can represent our totality.

> We are the manifestation on earth of the absolute, the Self that

> pervades all. As such, it is possible to have heaven here on earth...

> (if only the wars would end.)

> I believe this is what Maharishi Mahesh Yogi has been trying to say,
