Guest guest Report post Posted March 5, 2010  Haresrinivasa The knowledge content of vedanta is infinite and vast to understand.Now the proper understanding of the entire study of the vedanta and the interpretation and convincing explanations thereby as revealed by Sri Madvacharya, has established the HARISARVOTHAMATVA. There are many stories in the puranas and upanishath, to prove this fact. Sri Vadiraja guru sarvabhomaru in his grantha HARIBHAKTILATHA has essayed in detail the Harisarvothmathva. In this aspect, Sri rajaru,has narated the incident (prameya) as how Rudra was protected by Lord Sri Narasimha.This is covered in padma purana, in vasudeva sahasranama (sloka125) scripted by sri vedavyasa devaru. The story goes like this. Once Rudra, while sitting in a cave, the demonic forces wanted to attack Rudra and to finish off. Rudra realising the helplessness at that time, he prayed his antharyami devaru Lord Narasimha,to save him from this attack. Lord was pleased,made his presence and assured protection and destroyed the demonic forces. Gowrisowbagya was protected too. This rare prameya has been referred in Nyayasudha-guruvartha deepika commentary. Sri vasudeva sahasranama(sloka l25) "Yogini grastha girisho.....gowri sowbhagya dayaka." Sri vadirajaru, in his naration of this rare incident, will ;make all of us feel excited with Bhakti towards omnipotent sri Hari. Sri bharatiramana mukyapranthargatha sri krishnarpanamasthu.
