South Brunswick Zonal Board Hearing - 3: Temple update

Dear ALL,

 

We had our third zonal board hearing y'day reg our temple application process with the South Brunswick Township in New Jersey.

 

We presented our third witness, with specific experience working on Dept of Env'tl Protection projects ( relating to approval of septic tank designs) to testify on our behalf to clarify some of the questions that came out from Septic Tank Design presentation by our engineer from the second hearing.

 

A lots of questions were jointly fielded by our engineer(who testified in the second hearing) and this person we specifically hired for the third hearing. Overall, this meeting went very well. We are still left with presenting a few more witnesses from our end (Architect, Traffic Engineer and Land Use Planner).

 

The zonal board has tentatively scheduled the next hearing to June 17th. We had to settle for this date as they are going to be busy with other applications and there were also some conflicts with some of the key witnesses going to be available between now and June 17th.

 

This is turning out to be a long drawn process but we are hoping that the hearing should wrap up by July.

 

The next update will be provided after the next hearing in June.
