Thanks in infinity, Savitriji. I did read about the book few years back and wanted a copy. But some how it eluded me. I did not know it was your Father who authored the book. Thanks again.SincerelyUdayabhanu Panickaraum namaH Shivaaya LET US NOT MAKE OUR STOMACH A GRAVEYARD. LET US NOT EAT FLESH. LET US BE VEGETARIANS AND STAY HEALTHY. Animals are to be loved, not eaten. Dear Savitriji,It was very nice to read about your father, a multi-faceted personality with many achievements to his credit. His monumental work on Rigveda will be of immense benefit to scholars. My most respectful homage to the great scholar.S.N.Sastri--- On Fri, 4/2/10, Savitri Puram <savitriopuram wrote:Savitri Puram <savitriopuram[Guruvayur] an article about our late fatherFriday, April 2, 2010, 4:16 PM

I remember my father subscribing to the pre publication issue of the rig veda translation. I feel those were the days of a different era, where people allowed themselves to yearn, enjoy, study and look for things and events valuable for longer time - more stable and durable - unlike the 'use & throw' culture more adapted today. In that sense late OMC 's contribution will contine shedding light for many more years to come.

The centenary celebration stand testimony to that.
