It is very nice. But you forgot one thing. Naoh's ark had the blessing of God unlike Titanic, even though built by amateurs! In our Purana we have mathsyavathara whne the Lord told Sathyavratha to put the seeds and all beings in a boat and said that He will come as the Big Fish and he could tie the boat to His horn at the time of pralaya.May be this was the inspiration fro Noah's ark !saroja Ramanujam--- On Tue, 3/23/10, mprnair <nairradhakrishnan wrote:mprnair <nairradhakrishnan[Guruvayur] FW: Fw: Noah's Ark!"gurvayoor " <guruvayur >Tuesday, March 23, 2010, 5:37 PM

This is really beautiful.

Noah's Ark Everything I need to know, I learned from Noah's

Ark .

ONE: Don't miss

the boat.

TWO: Remember that

we are all in the same boat!

THREE: Plan ahead.

It wasn't raining when Noah built the Ark.

FOUR: Stay fit.

When you're 60 years old, someone may ask you to do something

really big.

FIVE: Don't listen

to critics; just get on with the job that needs to be done.

SIX: Build your

future on high ground.

SEVEN: For

safety's sake, travel in pairs.

EIGHT: Speed isn't

always an advantage.. The snails were on board with the

cheetahs.

NINE: When you're

stressed, float awhile.

TEN: Remember, the

Ark was built by amateurs; the Titanic by professionals.

ELEVEN: No matter

the storm, when you are with loved ones, there's always a

rainbow waiting.

My instructions were to send this to the people that I wanted

to be blessed and I picked you.

Please pass this

on to people you want to be blessed.

Gurvayoorappa.

Sampoojya Saroja Ramanujamji,

I express my deep gratitude for your enlightening on the episode

in our mathsyavathara katha.

I have seen this very recently , beautifully pictured in a Dasavathara

Video for Kids. As you

correctly said it might be the inspiration for the Noah’s Ark.

Thanks again for your precious and valuable contribution,

Padaravindame Saranam, Guruvayoorappa Saranam,

'Sarvesham Shanthir Bhavathu'

Thank you,

Have a great day,

Regards,

mprnair,

Hari-om

The majority of the Bible stories including Noah's Ark, crossing of the Jordan

River by Moses. Killing of male offsprings by the Egyptian Pharoa are copied

from the Hindu Puranaswith slight alterations.
