HARI AUM

To put simply , as Swami Chinmayanadji said, it is the 'law of being'. Swamiji explains it with the example of 'fire'. The 'swadharma' of 'fire' is to emit 'heat'. The 'goal' of human being is to 'realise' and a broad 'swadharma' i.e 'the process ( means) is by being of value to others. This 'how' has to be deciphered by every individual himself, with the help of-'swadhyaya', scriptural knowledge gathered by 'satsang', understanding one's own strength and weaknesses, seeking counsel from successful persons of one's tribe etc.

In any case keeping an open mind and being in a continous mode of learning is essential.
