Guest guest Report post Posted June 18, 2008 HARI AUM LIFE is sandwitched between love, respect, regards and appreciation on one side and hatred, insult, disregard and abuse on the other. Unlike the night and day the occurances of these are not exactly cyclical. Prolonged neglect and abuse and continuous applaud and approbation are not a rarity. Both brings in its own perils not only to the self but also to others. The moment we understand that both praise and ridicule are infact the effects and not causes in itself. They being 'reactions' are well within one's choice-one can choose to either uplift or decry-both self and others. To keep one's decorum and poise in either of the situations, however pleasant or dire, Bhagavan has some ideas put forth in his 'gita' verses 7 to 9 of Ch 6. Verses 5 & 6 are the keys to actions. Acquiring the 'attitude' Bhagavan has spelt in those verses will lead to a life of fullfilment and grace with tonnes of happiness, joy, peace and prosperity.
