anandbhardwaj 0 Report post Posted April 15, 2009 Hello, I am looking for some help writing some sanskrit, i noticed that this forum has a lot of very helpful people who have done so for others. i havent read or written hindi or sanskrit in many years so i am a bit rusty... I need to write 3 words: Satya, Ahimsa and Nishkama Karma. As far as Satya goes, i feel like i know how to do this: sa, half-ta, ya. i am not sure if i should put aa ki matra at the end, however. I have little issue with ahimsa- a, ha with small i and um dot, sa with aa ki matra. As for nishkama karma, i am pretty confused. First of all, is there an aa ki matra at the end of both word, one, or none? as in, will i pronounce/write it as nishkaam karm or nishkaamaa karmaa? is there even an aa ki matra after ka in nishkama? and also, which sha should i use? or am i getting this all wrong? Please, i would appreciate any help.
