I would like to know of any healing mantras for various illnesses. And also how to use them. I actually run a healing practice and would like to help my patients with mantra.

I have heard healings attributed both to the OM mantra

and the sri hanuman chalisa

 

However I can not tell you which is better for this purpose.

There are many mantras connected with healing general ailments and also specific diseases. Atharva Veda is the source of many of this mantras. They are part of Ayur Veda which is also part of Atharva Veda.

You may contact one of the older traditional Ayur Vedic Practitioners. Kerala is the state where there are many.

Anyone can read the Atharva Veda. The restriction on Vedas is only for recitation. It is because it requires years of training. It is only through the oral tradition that the Vedas were preserved for thousands of years.

 

Atharva Veda is not the only source. Mantra Mahotadi and Mantrarnava are two other sources.

Maha Mrityunjay Mantra is a mantra that has potency beyond comprehension to heal. It has powers to even bring dead to life and it the final solution to anyone fearing death. You can keep an audio mp3 playing to feel its usefulness.

You should ask a Brahmin priest if there are any restrictions.

It is consonant with Sanatana Dharma to consult them in any

matters relating to the Vedas.

Chanting Sri Rudram is the greatest healer for any diseases, are Lord Rudra is know to be Bhishak (Doctor) and Bheshaji(medicine provider).
