Durgaputra 1 Report post Posted April 12, 2009 These are tourist videos. The Naga sadhus to my knowledge do not accept women as sanyasis. These are other paramparas who do. Using the word Yogi in the true sense- of course there are lots of women yogis. It is considered extremely auspicous for a Devi devotee to have a woman Guru. Kali_Upasaka 1 Report post Posted April 14, 2009 Sri Ramakrishna's Tantrik Guru was Maa Bhairavi Brahmani who was a Vaishnava. Such paramparas or sampradhayas do still exist in India.
