Temple Location :

About the Temple:

This sthalam is situated in Tirunelveli district in Tamil Nadu. We have travel through Tirunelveli, Naanguneri (Cheeri varamangai) and panakudi when travellin through bus. There is no lodging facility.

Sthlapuranam :

This kurungudi sthalam is also called as "Vaamana kshetram", who is one of the avatharam of Sriman Narayanan, born in Puratasi month - Sukla patsham in Sravana Thuvadasi for Kaasyabha Maharishi and Athithi. The dhavadasi in which he was born is Vijaya dhavadasi.

He was teached the Savithri mantram by Suryan and Vyazha Guru Bragaspathi taught him the Brahma Soothiram. Since , Vaamanar was born to the Maharishi, his clothes and all the activities was same as how a rishi should be. He got the Dharbai from his father - Kaashyaba Maharishi Bhoomi (or) earth gave krishna Aasanam, Chandran gave him the Thandi, (Which is used as a support for the hand), Athithi gave Koupeenam (Clothes)Brahma devan gave the Kamandalam, some vessels given by Guberan and Bharadhwaja Maharishi was his Guru and teached him all the vedas. Parasakthi gave him food with her thirukkaram (hand) when he begged for food.

Inspite of taking the thirivikraman - ulagalandha perumal Kolam, Vaamanar is giving his seva as a short muni in this sthalam. Because of this, this sthalam is called as "Kurungudi".

When Siva peruman got his brahmagathi dosham by plucking the head of Brahma devan, came to this sthalam and as advised by the Nindra Nambi, to get out of the dosham, he begged from Kurungudi Valli Thaayar for Amudham (food) to get out of the dosham as pabha Vimocchanam. And after this, he learnt the Sudharsana Japam from Vaamanar and got completly out of the Dosham.

By this sthala perumal's Kurungudi Nambis seva only, Nammalvar born to his mother, Udaya Nangai. Thirumangai alwar got his Mukthi (attained paramapadham) in this sthalam and as a memory of this, a small temple is constructed with the name "Thirumangai Alwar Thiru varasu" in the banks of the river, which is towards the east direction of the temple.

"Nambu" means believe and "Nambi" means believed by all. As the name of the perumal, Nindra Nambi, he is believed and devoted by all the bhaktaas. Like Narayanan who gives his seva in Nindra, Kidantha and Irundha thirukkolam, Siva perumaan also gives his seva as Siva linga Swaroopan in Nindra Kolam as a dancing person. Thirukkayilai and as Thiruthaandava Kolam as a dancing person. Like the same way, Siva perumaan when came to meet and get the dharshan of Nambi perumal, he met him and got the Vimochan of the pabham. As a result of this, a separate sannadhi for Lord Shivan as "Magendranadhar", who is found inbetween Kidantha Nambi and Iruntha Nambi perumal sannadhi.

Nearer to Kurungudi, there lived a valla Baanan (musician) who wanted to worship Kurungudi Nambi on sukla patch Ekadesi. Once, he came along the way to Kurungudi, a Brahma Raatshashan (a wild demon) was very hungry and happened to see this Baanan. It said him that since he is too much of hunger, he is going to be ate as his food. But Baanan replied him that he is going to Kurungudi to get the dharshan, of Kurungudi Nambi and after getting that, he can eat him. After getting the words from him, the demon asked him to go and will wait until he comes.

The Baanan after reaching Kurungudi, stood infront of the Kurungudi temple vaasal (entrance) Inspite of the Dhavasthambham (Kodi Maram) screened the perumal without seeing it, the Baanan started to sing on him, forgetting all things around him. After hearing this, the Kodimaram, which was infront of him made a way to the Baanan, so that he could see the Nambi perumal. He sang the Paasurams of Nammalwar with some musical way in it.

After getting satisfied on the Baanan's devotion and his devotional songs, Kurungudi Nambi gave his seva to him and gave him the title as "Nampaaduvaan". Nampaaduvaan can be explained as that the song was sung about the perumal and Baanan was singing it and from now he should sing always on him. And to extend this, he was gave the title as "Nampaaduvaan" by the perumal itself.

After getting the dharshan and getting the title from Kurungudi Nambi, the Baanan went straight to the Raatshashan and asked him that now he can eat him as his food. The demon asked what did he sing on the perumal? As the Baanan started to expalin it, the demon hearing it gorgot all of its hunger and let the Baanan free. Inspite of being so wild, the paasurams of perumal went along the Ears of the demon and filled not only the stomach of it but also the entrie heart and body of the Raatshashan. And the perumal asked Baanan to give the Paasuram to the Raatshashan so that he will not suffer from hunger anymore and he gave him the paasuram. This story is well explained in Varaha Puranam. This story is played as a small drama during Kausika Ekadesi.

The prasaadham (food) which is done the Naivedhyam (offered) for the perumal is offered for Lord shiva of this temple. On entering the temple, a big Mattaiyadi Mandapam is found and we can also see another Mandapam, Nadhi Mandapam. After crossing, the kodi maram is found, with lots of rare sculptures in it. Next to the mandapam, we find the sannadhi of Manavala Maamunigal. An hanging bell can be found in Kulasekara Mandapam which is offered by a king of Thiruvidhangodu to the Nambi perumal. Moolavar Nindra Nambi is also named as "Pari pooranan" and found along with two pirattiyaars, Maarkandeya Maharishi and Brighu Maharishi in Nindra kola seva.

Next to him, we can find the Vainava Nambi, the utsavar along with two pirattis, Neela Devi and Kurungudi valli thaayar.

On the south pragharam of this temple, a separate sannadhi for Lakshmi Narasimhar, Lakshmi Sametha varaha Moorthy and in west prakaram - all ten Avataars, Dasavathaar, Srinivasa perumal Andal and Kurungudi Valli Thaayar Sannadhi are found.

Also separate sannadhi for Nindra Nambi Veetrirundha Nambi, Kidantha Nambi.

Close to the Nambi's legs, the head of the Mahabali is found. The Irundha Nambi is also named as "Vaikundhanadhan". 5 Kms after this sthalam, Malaimel Nambi is found on the top of the mountain. Kurungudiyavan kudi is the other name for Vaamanar of this sthalam and he is found on a small Chattiram, 1/2 miles on south direction. 1/2 miles away a small river named "Thiruppaarkadal" is found, where Thriuppaarkadal Nambi Sannadhi is found.

Moolavar and Thaayar:

The Moolvar of this Divyadesam is Sri Nindra Nambi. Also called as Kurungudi Nambi, Irundha Nambi, Kidantha Nambi, Vaishnava Nambi, Thiruppaarkadal Nambi and Malaimel Nambi. Moolavar in Nindra Thirukkolam giving his seva and facing his thirumugam in east direction. Prathyaksham for Lord Shivan.

Temple Location :

About the Temple:

This temple lies in Thirunaangur of Tanjore district in Tamil Nadu. It's about 7 miles away from Seerkazhi and is near to Thirunaangur. Transport facilities are not provided.

Sthala Puranam:

Once there was a king named Swethan, the son of Thundu maran of the Surya dyansty. Fearing early death he sought the help of "Maruthuva Maharishi", the son of Lord Surya the sun god. He instructed swethan to chant the "Mrithyunjaya Manthiram" by sitting under the Tree vilvam which was on the south bank of the pushkarani. Lord Narayanan presented himself before the king and blessed him with a long life.

This Kshetram is known as South Tirupathi. All the offering in due to the Thiruvenkadamudayan of Tirupathi can be offered here too.

At Thiruvinnagar, Lord Oppiliappan blesses along with godess Bhoodevi as an equivalent form of Lord varahaswamy and Bhoodevi as Tirumala Tirupathi. Also as an equivalent form of Lord Srinivasa and Padmavathi Thaayar, the Lord blesses us as Thiruvellakulam as Lord Srinivasa and Padmavathi.

As for the above stated reasons, both the Kshetrams are considered in equivalent with Tirumala Tirupathi.

Lord Srinivasa at Vellakulam has the qualities of Lord Rama and Lord Krishna. As lord Rama is the elder brother - Annan of Lord Krishna. So Lord Srinivasa bears the name Annan here.

As he saved the king Swethan from the death fear he shows himself as Varadharajan. So as the perumal stands as form representing all the yugams the Vimaanam too has a hint of this act as Thathuva Yodhaga Vimaanam.

The perumal thus has the names of elder and younger brother namely "Annan" and "Kannan". Hence this temple is known as Annan Kovil. Also it is to be noted that the perumal is also called as Narayanan. Thus this name acts as a bridge between the similarity of Sri Rama and Venkata Krishna - Thiruvenkadamudayan for both of them were in search of their wieves Seetha devi and Godess Padmavathi respectively.

Vellam means flood and kulam means pond. Both the terms represent water only. As like Annan Kovil, this place has got its another name "Thiru Vellakulam" from the above similarity. It can also taken that Lord Rama, Balarama and Aadhi vishnu are all of white colour. Lord Krishna is of Blue colour the colour of water in ponds and tanks. Taking Vellam as Vellai White colour it can also be said that the name Vellakulam was got by the above reason.

Specials:

1. This Divyadesam is known as "South Tirupathi". All the offering in due to the Thiru Venkadamudayan of Tirupathi can be offered here too.

2. This sthalam is the avathara sthalam of Kumudhavalli Naachiyaar (wife of Thirumangai Alwar).

3. Whenever Thirumangai Alwar comes to this sthalam, he was given two coconuts smeared with turmeric powder. There is a great custom involved in this issue. (ie) whenever son-in-law comes to his wife's place, he would be offered and greated along with the coconuts. Since, Thirumangai Alwar married Kumudhavalli Naachiyaar, he is offered along with two coconuts.

Moolavar:

The Moolavar of this Divyadesam is Sri Srinivasan. Also known as Kannan, Narayanan and Anna Perumal. He is giving his seva Nindra (Standing) Thirukkolam facing his thirumugham towards eest direction. Prathyaksham for Ekadesa Rudhirar and Swetha Rajan.

Thayaar: The Thayaar found in this sthalam is Alarmel Mangai Naachiyar. The Utsavar Thaayar is Padmavathi. Also known as Poorar Thirumagal.

Mangalasasanam:

  • Thirumangaialwar - 10 Paasurams.
    Total - 10 Paasurams.

Pushkarani:

Thiru Vellakulam. Vimanam:

Pictures of vishnu-->

great12img02.gif

As stated in Bhagavad Gita, in this kali yugam, the entire world will be surrounded by evil thoughts and bad actions. Inspite of these evil activities, to attain a good stage, the only way is to catch hold of the divine feet of Sriman Narayanan. There is a great slogan in Tamil, which states:

"Adi Udhavuvathu Pol

Annan Thambi Uthava maattar"

Lots of people misunderstand this slogan. The actual meaning of this is even in critical situation our brothers (annan thambi) will leave us without offering any help to us. But, even at that time, the adi - the thiruvadi of Sriman Narayanan will help us. This is the actual meaning of this. Likewise, in this article we can how the greatness of the thiruvadi of Sriman Narayanan.

1. Vamana Avathar:

In Vamana (Dwarf) avathar, Sriman Narayanan incarnates as a small Dwarf Brahman and by asking the 3 feets of the Earth, the Perumal reduces the head weight of Bali Chakravarthy. The first feet measured this entire earth and the second feet - the sky and the Perumal asked for the final and the 3rd feet Mahabali could not offered the final feet and finally he surrendered his head as the 3rd feet. As a result, the head weight of Mahabali is reduced and his head was stamped by the divine feet of Sriman Narayanan.

2. Rama Avathar:

rama.jpg Sri Rama Avathar is considered to be one among the great incarnations taken by Sriman Narayanan. Sri Rama and Lakshmana went along with the Great Muni Vishwamitra to help him and to protect the Yagam from the Asuras. During that, Rama and Lakshmana killed two dreadful Arakkas Thatakai and Tharakasuran. The Yagam was done in a very good way and Sri Rama and Lakshmana killed lots of Asurars. After helping Vishwamitra, Rama came towards the Palace of King Janakar where Swayamvaram for Sita Piratti was held while walking towards the palace, a stone which was which was found of the side of road was struck by the divine feet of Sri Ramar and the next moment, the stone turned up into a beautiful women. She was nothing but the Agalikai, wife of Gouthama muni. She was turned to a stone as the Sabham given by Gouthama Muni. After the divine foot was struck, she got the Sabha Vimochanam and thanked Sri Rama and Lakshmana.

3. Krishna Avathar:

krishna.jpg Like how, Sri Rama avathar is said to be great one, Krishna Avathar is also said to be an equivalent one. In Krishnavathar also, lots of interesting issues are said and explained through the feet of Sri Krishnar.

Kaliyuga Varadhan, Sri Srinivasan who is found in Nindra Thirukkolam is standing for his sorrow and accepting their dedications.

There are lots of things to say about his divine feet. But, one must be very clear that if we strongly catch hold of his feet, all of our sorrow will decrease and that is the only way to attain Mukthi. The only way to get out of sorrow is catch hold of the divine feet of Sriman Narayanan.

Namashkar gokulkr,

I just read few days back about Vaitheeswaran koil , which is also near Seergazhi and requested my parents to visit it, as they are on south tour.I will again ask them to visit this temple.

In sadan part of India, there are thousands of temples but the right info available is scarce. I am thankful to you for posting this info and would await some more infos on nearby temples or any temples.

My Mumma is suffering from Myopathy in her legs since last 20 yrs, she has lost hopes, but we keep trying and one reason i asked them to visit Vaitheeswaran is i believe that Lord Vaitheeswaran may shower his blessings.

Here is the brief info, i could get on Vaideeswaran.

Do you know something about the rituals that are performed while asking for cure..I read on some blogs, one can also get a Oil for massage etc, so also about Nadi Astrology, but at the same time, many of them are fake.

I would highly appreciate, if you could give me any info or info of some genuine pandit, who could help us.

Thanks a lot again

namaste prabuji,

thanx for your post. as a vaishnava i can recommend only on srivaishnava deities or sadh-vaishnava shrines. Anyway i dont want to comment about Vaidheswaran temple. But i can tell that 100% Sri Sri Raghavendraswamy will cure your mother. Please visit mantralaya once. Faith on swamiji is must. May Rayaruji bless you and your mother. I dont believe on pandits or naado joshiyams as per my experience.

Temple Location :

About the Temple:

This is one of the sthalam found in Kanchipuram and is about 1 Km away from Sri Varadharajar temple.

Sthlapuranam :

When Thirumizhisai alwar was living in Kanchipuram, a very old lady (Daasi) used to clean his house daily and did this as a small favour for him.

On becoming happy on the favour she is doing daily to him, Alwar changed her from old lady to a beautiful woman. After this, wondering at the beauty, the king married the woman and she became the queen of the place. On hearing the secret of an old lady becoming a beautiful woman, he was in an eager mood to meet Thirumizhisai Alwar.

Kani Kannan, who was great follower of Thirumazhisai Alwar, helped and followed him and his teachings. The king called up Kani Kannan and asked that Thirumizhisai Alwar should come to his palace and should sing a poem on praising him. On hearing this, Kani Kannan said that all the poems and songs that comes from the mouth of Thirumizhisai Alwar belongs to Srivaikundanathan and it is impossible for him to come to the palace and sung a poem on praising the king.

On hearing this, he showed lots of gold ornaments, silver items, Diamonds etc to Kani Kannan and since he being very close to Thirumizhisai Alwar, atleast he could sing a poem on praising him. But, Kani Kannan refused to do so and said he will not sing any song on praising the humans. The King got angry on hearing this and ordered him to get out from Kanchi at once.

Kani Kannan went to Thirumizhisai Alwar and explained all about that had happened in the palace and prepared to start getting out from Kanchipuram. On seeing this, Thirumizhisai Alwar also prepred to start from Kanchi leaving along with Kani Kannan. So, he too started along with him. While they were going, he sung a song on the Yadhothakari Perumal as Kani Kannan is leaving Kanchipuram, he is also going along with him and Alwar asks the Perumal to get up from his Aadhisheshan, which is the bed for him and roll it and wants him to quit from Kanchi.

The Perumal also got out from Kanchipuram following the Alwar and Kani Kannan. On hearing this, the king and all the people of Kanchi, begged Kani Kannan to return back to Kanchipuram.

And after this, Kani Kannan along with Thirumizhisai Alwar came back to Kanchipuram. When returning, Alwar sung a song asking that Kani Kannan has returned back to Kanchi and he want the Perumal to go and sleep in his Aadhiseshan in the temple. On hearing this, Sriman Narayanan comes back to Thiruvekka temple and gives his sayana kols seva. Since the Perumal obeyed the words of Thirumizhisai Alwar and did what he said, he is called as "Sonna Vannam seitha perumal". Sonna vannam seitha means obeying and doing the same what was told to him. This is one of the purana story said about this sthalam.

Once in Brahma logam, there was an arguement that who is greater between Naa Magal (or) Saraswathi and Poo Magal (Sri Lakshmi). Brahma said that it is Poomagal - Lakshmi Thaayar who is found on the heart of Sri Vishnu is the greatest. Next, Saraswathi asked which river is the big river. But, unfortunately Brahma answered that the greatest river is River Ganga which is originating from the feet of Sri Vishnu is the greates. On hearing this, Saraswathi got angry and quit from the disappeared and went along the banks of river Ganga and started doing Tapas.

Naan mughan, Brahma wanted to do the great Ashwametha Yagam in Kanchipuram and wanted Saraswathi to be along with him. So, he sent his son Vashistan to make Saraswathi come back to him. But, Saraswathi refused to come along with him. After this, Brahma devan started the Yagam keeping Savithri and all of his wives with him.

On seeing this, the Asuraas (the Demon) wanted to destroy the Yagam and went to Saraswathi and made her angry by telling her what is happening. She got angry on Brahma devan and started as "Vegavathi" river along the south direction and flow across the place of the Yagam to destroy it . But, Sriman Narayanan wanted to stop Vegavadhi river and protect the Yagam from her. So, he stoped the river by lying across the river on Aadhiseshan. Because of this, this perumal is also named as "Vaga Sethu".

This Vega Sethu then became Vegavanai and then finally named as "Vekkanai" and finally became "Vekka".

In this sthalam only, Manavala Maamunigal expalined his "Sri Bashyam" to the world.

Bhaktas while traveling from Keezh (lower) Tirupathi to Tirumala (Mel Tirupathi), we have to travel 7 hills only after traveling these hills, we can reach the Tirumala, where the Kali Yugha Deivam, Thiruvenkadamudayaan is giving his seva to Bhaktas. The following details explain about the 7 Malais (mountains).

Virushabahtri:

This is the first hill we will be crossing. This mountain is also called as "Erunndhumalai". Once, there lived an arakkan (demon) by named "Virushasooran", who gave lots of trouble to the people, but he was a great Narasimha bhaktan. Because of this, he had got a varam (boon) that his death should come only by the Emperumaan. But even though he was a great Narasimha bhaktan, he was giving trouble to the people and finally the Perumal through his Vishnu Chakkaram killed him and as requested by him at the time of his death, this mountain is named as "Virushabathri" (or) "Virushasalam".

Neelathri:

After crossing the first hill, Virushabathri, we will be traveling to the second hill, which is called as "Neelathri". It is also called as "Neelamalai". This name is given to this hill to remember the blue colour of Sri Vishnu. (Sri Vishnu has another Thirunaamam as "Neela megha Shyamalan")

Anjanathri:

This is the third hill, we will be traveling to get the seva of Sri Balaji. This hill is named as "Anjanathri", since Anjana devi, mother of Lord Hanuman, did a strong tapas and as a result of this only, the hill is named as such. This mountain is also called as "Anjanasalam".

Seshathri:

The fourth hill is Seshathri hill, which is next to Anjanathri hill. It is believed that Aadhiseshan is turned as the series of hills and withstanding the Nindra Kola Thiruvenkadamudayan. To explain the greatness of Aadhiseshan, this fourth hill is named as "Seshathri" (or) "Seshaasalam".

Garudathri:

It is believed that the Perumal came to this sthalam on Garudan and to explain this, this 5th hill is named as "Garudathri" (or) "Garudaasalam".

Narayanathri:

This is the sixth mountain found while traveling to Tirumala. This hill is named so that it explains the 6 characters (Om Na ra ya na ya) of Sriman Narayanan.

Thiruvenkadam:

This is the final mountain and this is also called as "Eazhu Malai". Bhaktas will be very happy to cross this 7th hills, since after crossing this, they will be getting the seva of Thiruvenkadamudayan, who is said to extract all kinds of sorrows of human life. This 7th hill is also named as "Venkadathri".

This hill is said to have the character of curing diseases and is said to contain medicinal values. Once, there lived an andhanan, by named Purandharan. He had a bad character and led his life by enjoying with women and as a result of this, he got some sort of incurable diseases. And after being left out by the women, he came to this Tirumala and finally he was cured completely. His body was badly affected and is termed to be "Kadam". And after he reached this mountain, his Kadam, the sin was turned to Punyam (Opposite to sin) and his body turned as pure as gold (Which becomes pure after being treated with fire). Because of this, this Tirumala is also called as "Venkadam". Eazhumala, Tirumalai, Vadamalai are the other names of Thiruvenkadam.

by the Sattvic people (men of Sattva guna)

Srinivasa!

When Thou art a means (upaya) to the devotees

for the attainment of the Supreme Abode (Liberation);

Lakshmi brings about this.

When Thou becometh the object of attainment (prapya),

Lakshmi too appears to be so,

resorting to Thee always,

Thou art of pure, faultless qualities.

I become servant to Thee and not to myself at any time.

YO nithyamachyutha padhAmbhuja yukmarukma vyAmohathas thadhitharANi thruNayamEnE |

AsmathgurOr bhagavathosya dhyaikasindhO: RamAnujasya charaNau saraNam prapadhyE ||

Gadhyam is like a prose composition; even then, when you read it aloud with bhakti, it gives great blissful happiness and Anandham. Those who take refuge at Sri RamAnujA's feet will also be blessed with mOksham was an assurance and promise given by NamperumAL during Setthi Sevai.

(All the more essential that we take refuge at Sri YathrAjA's feet. It is high time we did it!)

Surrendering and taking refuge at Sri Lakshmi pirAtti:

1. Bhagavan NarAyaNa ......... saraNa maham prapadhyE..

Meaning: Sri MahAlakshmi has got all the attributes, the thirumEni, its specialities, the kalyANa GuNAs, which the Lord likes always; Not even a second, she gets separated from the Lord; Blemishless; the pattamahishi of dEvAthi dEvan; the mother for the enire universe; and my mother too; Such grest mother Sri mahAlakshmi- I, who has no other shelter or protector, take refuge at her lotus feet.

Requesting Sri mahAlakshmi to recommend to Lord Sri RanganAtha:

2. pAramArtthika...... asthu mE..

Meaning: Parabhakti, ParaGnAnam and Paramabhakti are the permanent means to hold the Lord's Lotus feet. With those Bhakti, one can getthe divine experience and Bhagavadh anubhavam which is the only one to be desired and nothing else; From that Bhagavadh anubhavam, the "NILAIYAANA

KAINKARYAM" to the Lord. For getting that sort of attitude and the bhakti, one shall perform SARANAGATHI at the Lotus feet of namperumAL. O mAthA,Please bless me to obtain such bent of mind to do SARANAGATHI at all times; with no gap absolutely.

Piratti acknowledges:

3. AsththE.....Let it happen as you asked for.

4. Thayaiva sarvam sampathyathE With that saraNagathi, you (and your sishyAs) are going to get EVERY sampath. EmberumAn's swaroopam:

Pitharam... gruhANi cha..

O BhagawAn! I have left the bonds of bodily relations like father, mother, wife, children, bhandhus(relatives), friends, Gurus, athinangaL (wealth),danadhAnyangaL. Properties, Houses, DharmangaL, and all others, and have surrendered to your feet, TrivikramA!

TvamEvadEva sodum.. DEvAdhi dEvA! You are my mother; my father; my relative; my Guru; my knowledge; my matter; my every thing; One who has unparallel good qualities; One who is a father of all movable and immovable,living and non living beings; You are the only one who can be worshipped; You are the only one who can be a Teacher; Hence, You are the GREATEST;

When there is not even an equal person to match You; How can there someone be greater than You(There CAN NOT BE).

Hence, I have placed my human body flat on the ground and prostrate at your feet considering You as my Lord, the one who is worshippable. Consider me as a son to a father; as a friend to another friend; as a wife to a husband; and bear all my mistakes, blunders which I have committed.

(Our Sri RamanujA thus prosrated to Sriya: pathi and begged to be forgiven by the Lord).

ManOvAkkAyai..kShamasva..

10&11.Through the mind, Language and the body, from time immemorial (for so many births), the mistakes, blunders (apachArams) have been committed;that too, tremendous, infinite number of apachArams- doing the ones which should not have been done; not doing the ones which should be done as per shAstrAs; committing apachArams to the Lord; to the BhAgavathALs; committing unforgiveable, unpardonable apachArams; -All of these, O Lord,Please show mercy on me and forgive me for my such mistakes. Out of these apachArams, some have already started giving me results; some have not yet yielded results; some have been committed in the past; some are being done in the present; and some may even be committed in the future; - Please forgive me for all these apachArams. With regards to Atman, Worldly things, I have been having a misconception and having a "vibhareetha GnAnam", for quite a long time (for so many births); All these wrong GnAnams and misconceptions, which I possess, and will possess- Please forgive me them also. Request for removal of "mAyai"

madheeya-anAdhi karma... mAm thAraya..

12. The mAyA, which has been there in me due to my karmAs I have been doing for a long time; which has been hiding me from the Supreme Truth(BhagawAn) and has been leading me to a "vibhareetha GnAnam" of mistaking the Body as Atman (or attaching myself to the Body); a thinking that "Worldly and sensual pleasures are the happiest and are to be sought after;the mAyA which has been as a body, as sense organs, as bhOgyam, as gross and fine matter; as sattva, rajas and thamasa guNAs; - Such a mAyA of mine(who is saying to You,"I have surrendered to You and am Your servant ALWAYS")-Please enable me to cross over Thy mUla prakriti of the entire guNAs causing beginningless and endless karmas".

tEshAm gnAnee... sudhurlabha:..

13."the GnAni is the one, who is a bhakthA and always thinks of me; hence, he is my dearest. and I am his dearest too." - Please make me such a gnAni!.

Request for PARABHAKTI

"purushas sa para: pArtha:... kinkarO bhavAni..

14."ArjunA, that Parama purushan can be attained through unadulerated ekAntha bhakti only"; "can be attained only with a single pointed devotion/bhakti"; "he gets the Highest Bhakti from Me"- You have mentioned such parama bhakti three times; - Please bless me with such a paramabhakti.

15.Please make me an embodiment of para bhakti, paragnAna and parama bhakti.

16.With those para bhakti, paragnAnam and parama bhakti, I will get Bhagavadh anubhavam and will get "nitya kainkaryam" to You.

BHAGAWAAN REPLIES:

Evambhootha mathkainkarya....kinkarO bhavishyasi..

17.Like that, you may not possess or have any means to get Nitya kainkaryam to Me; you may have committed numerous apachArams to Me; and to My bhAgavathALs; you may have committed unpardonable apacharams; you may have possessed vibhareetha ahankAram and vibhareetha gnAnam and hidden the"Real" swaroopam of Atman; You may have got WRONG vibhareetha thoughts for ages (for so many births); you may possess sathva, rajasa, thAmasa guNAs and also are bound by sukha, dukkangaL(pleasure and sorrows); their causes-theorigin of such vibhareetha thoughts;- you are being troubled and disturbed greatly by the above things and obstruct you to get the "paripoorNa parabhakti, paragnAnam and paramabhakti; - In spite of all these,even though, you have all the above, JUST BECAUSE SOME WAY (may be, inadvertantly), YOU HAVE RECITED DWAYA MANTHRAM; and Hence, With My Grace and Mercy, you will get rid of all hurdles; worries and troubles coming in the way to obtain para bhakti and para gnAnam and parama bhakti; With My Grace, you will be blessed with My Swaroopam, GuNam, Roopam, Perumai, LeelAs etc., and you will see Them in person; you will be My servant and you will enjoy Me ONLY; you will realise that realising Me and Serving Me ONLY GIVES you HAPPINESS AND BLISS; For ever, permanently, with no other material benefit or desire, you will LOVE to serve Me; Experiencing Me and Great Love and Bhakti, affection arising in you out of that Rich Experience will come to you BY MY GRACE; you will always PERENNIALLY LOVE TO SERVE ME AND GET BLESSED; you will be keen on That only;

18. This section is an assuring answer by the Lord to a question that Sri Ramanuja has in mind :When do I start such a kaimkaryam ? You have already started BEING like that.

19.Keep reciting Dwaya manthram and ITS MEANING and get over even the semblance of ALL the HURDLES; Live like that HAPPILY in SRIRANGAM tillyour body is worn out and will not house YOU ANY MORE;

20.When your body falls down, you will shine BRIGHT BY MY GRACE and you will see My Darshan and You will be GREATLY INQUISITIVE to see Me and Reach Me to Serve Me; and you will shed the BODY like removing the OldCloth; you will get All Bhakti for Me Due to My Grace; You will get "Nitya Kainkaryam" for Me; and you will Not desire anything other than the bliss and happiness of performing Nitya Kainkaryam;

21.Have No Doubts about This (mA thE bhoothathra samsaya:)

22. I have NEVER UTTERED FALSEHOOD; Nor will I ever; Rama Never TalksTwice; "Once, whoever surrenders to Me and says"I am Your Servant", I Give "AbhaYam" to All such Beings";

23.SACRIFICE ALL FRUITS OF YOUR KARMA AND SURRENDER TO MYFEET; I SHALL DELIVER YOU FROM ALL YOUR ALL SINFUL REACTIONS.

DO NOT FEAR OR LAMENT. (SarvadharmAn ... mA sucha:)

24. Athas thwam thava.. sukhamAswa..

Hence, you, the one who has joined Me, will know Me as I am, will see as I amand will reach Me as I am and shall HAVE NO DOUBTS AT ALL ABOUT IT; Live Happily Till then.

Thanjamadaintha nam RamanujanE thanjam
