If the lord of 6th, 8th or 12th are in 6th, 8th and 12th house respectively, then is it still a vipreet raj yog? I am Libra Ascending with Venus in 8th house. Is it a VRY? Can someone please clarify with references? Thanks

Usually it should be in another Dusthana house. However, I think you should not be interested in Vipreet Raj Yoga. Venus is your Lagna lord, lot more important than 8th lordship.

Vipreet Raj Yoga is basically when the ruler of a dusthana becomes weak, it creates positive results. (Two negatives is a positive).

If you have a strong Venus that is good. How is your general body and health?

generally ascendent lord in the 6/8/12 is not desirable. but you have venus it is own sign in the 8th house. if it is strong enough in other D-charts then a very good thing to have.

lords of 6th/8th/12th houses are negative planets they tend to weaken other houses and planets they are associated. sometime creating a lot of hardships for the native. so as mentioned by 'kingpin9969' when these dusta graha are positioned on the 6th/8th/12th house, they themself become weak and give out less negative impact to the overall horoscope scenarion. thanks,

Thank you kingpin and Ravi

I have a strong built and I am of medium height. In my hand as well, venus is extremely exalted. I have a good health but have gained a lot of weight. Apart from that I have decent health.

So the lord of Ascending is always strong. Am I right? Does it mean that in Libra Asc venus in 8th house (Tau) is NOT bad?

I have moon + Ketu in 4th house, Venus 8th, Sun 9th, Rahu + Merc 10th, Jup + Sat 11th and Mars 12th. None are combustible and Merc and Venus are retrograde. Mercury and Venus are also the strongest mounts in my hand.
