Some may think that Brahmajyoti Soap and Shampoo is impersonal. This is not at all the case. Brahmajyoti Soap and Shampoo is for persons, not impersons! Have you ever seen an imperson taking a shower, and I'm not talking about your dog either? You'll find Brahmayoti Soap and Shampoo at the purveyors of bodly cleansing products and Wal Mart. Stay clean and pure with Brahmajyoti and save money too.

Happy new year begger and Hare Krsna to u mate, its already 2009 down under in Maha Vishnu's big dream

I got the Eternal Present for X-mas instead of an X-Box, Mate! Now I can go back to the future at least it me mind. (I'm gonna watch the movie with the family today). I think I'm going to celebrate New Years 1927 on Long Island, New York. I'll be careful not to preach to those people because I don't want to change history! Happy New Year Mate and a non-alcoholic grog toast to all the blokes and blokarinis down under!

I Dreamed I Saw Srila Jiva Goswami

I dreamed I saw Srila Jiva Goswami,

Alive as you or me,

Tearing through these quarters

In the utmost separation ecstasy,

With a chader underneath his arm

And a kopin of so very old,

Searching for the very souls

Whom already have been sold.

"Arise, arise," he cried so loud,

In a voice without restraint,

"Come out, ye gifted kings and queens

And hear my sad complaint.

No acarya is among ye now

Whom you can call your own,

So go on your way accordingly

But know you're not alone."

I dreamed I saw Srila Jiva Goswami,

Alive with fragrent breath,

And I dreamed I was amongst the ones

That misinterpreted him to death.

Oh, I awoke in anger,

So alone and terrified,

I put my fingers against the lassi glass

And bowed my head and cried.

bd_lyrics_book70_2.jpg I Dreamed I Saw St. Augustine

I dreamed I saw St. Augustine,

Alive as you or me,

Tearing through these quarters

In the utmost misery,

With a blanket underneath his arm

And a coat of solid gold,

Searching for the very souls

Whom already have been sold.

"Arise, arise," he cried so loud,

In a voice without restraint,

"Come out, ye gifted kings and queens

And hear my sad complaint.

No martyr is among ye now

Whom you can call your own,

So go on your way accordingly

But know you're not alone."

I dreamed I saw St. Augustine,

Alive with fiery breath,

And I dreamed I was amongst the ones

That put him out to death.

Oh, I awoke in anger,

So alone and terrified,

I put my fingers against the glass

And bowed my head and cried.

May the new year bring happiness to all who seek.

May the heart extend to see,

that no-one is separate from the self.

That every thought, word, and deed has power to heal -

one-self. Then all is healed.

May the new-year bring the treasure of your heart

before my eyes. May that treasure be mine to live and breathe.

Happy new year dear readers...

Its 18:30 here on the west coast of N. America. 5 1/2 hours to go before the big WHOOPEE !!!! I like to stay off the roads on an evening like this to avoid the amateur drunks celebrating the passage of time, which only hastens their demise. I rode out to a coffee shop this afternoon to have a chai - yes, that is tea w/milk, or milk w/tea. I'm a bad devotee, drinking stuff like that. While I was there, I made sure to read the obituaries in the San Jose Mercury News just to keep myself a little in tune with the reality of this time-passage issue. Actually, the obits are very interesting, I always read them if I've a paper, because the paper let's the relatives submit some of the personal details of the person's life. It is amazing to see the diversity of a soul's involvement within the confines of misconception, a shadow reflection of the diversity of the blazing souls we can expect to find in the Kingdom of God.

Hare Krishna.

thx jeff.

new years day here...windy and rainy (and quiet and nice). it is bin day and all the bins are out, full of stuff to the brim. bottles, cans, and assorted things.

in the middle of the street is a green strip, full of grass (and weeds)...took the dog for a walk just then, and picked up the trash blown (from the bins) by the wind.

sacred earth hey jeffster. happy chai!

Lyrics to "Happy Chai" Happy chai to you, until we meet again.

Happy chai to you, keep smilin' until then.

Who cares about the clouds when we're together?

Just sing a song and bring the sunny weather.

Happy chai to you, 'till we meet again.

Some chais are spicy ones,

Others are blue.

It's the way you ride the trail that counts,

Here's a happy chai for you.

Happy chai to you, until we meet again.

Happy chai to you, keep smilin' until then.

Who cares about the clouds when we're together?

Just sing a song and bring the sunny weather.

Happy chai to you, 'till we meet again.

Alternate Devotional Verse:

Happy chai to you, it's great to say "haribol".

And to share with you the jaya we've come to know.

It started on the day that we met Caitanya,

He came into our hearts and then he freed us.

For a life that's true, a happy jaya to you.

Hari Bol Club Rules:

1. Be neat and clean.

2. Be courteous and polite.

3. Always obey your parents.

4. Protect the weak and help them.

5. Be brave but never take chances.

6. Study the sastrahard and learn all you can.

7. Be kind to animals and never eat them.

8. Eat all your food and never waste any.

9. Love Guru and go to Sunday Feast regularly.

10. Always respect our flag and our country.

22:45 here on the west coast of N. America. Yes, a Happy Chai to One and All !! If that's the most of our intoxication, than its likely the least of our problems! Anyway, we can always order a green tea chai, that should pass anyone's standard. One thing that we can see consistently in the obits is the involvement and attachment of the majority of these souls to family life. There's a Sanskrit term for that, mithunya something (?), doesn't it mean the shackles of sex life ? Read some obits, you'll see family life discussed prominently.
