Puja for Durga

Namaste- this would depend on many factors. Things to be considered would be:

1. How much time do you have ?

2. What is your regular practice ?

3. Where are you situated- what kind of materials are available to you ?

4. Have you been initiated- do you have a Guru ?

5. What kind of spiritual practice have you done in the past ?

6. What kind of family do you come from and what kind of family religious practices have you been exposed to ?

If you have a Guru, it would be best to ask the Guru. It is important to know these things even for an inexpert person like me to be able to suggest some thing. A lot of these things depend on these various factors. What I have seen for many people is that in addition to Guru's instructions, Guru's grace AND/OR Goddess's grace(the shastras say there is no difference- Guru, Devatha and Mantra are one) helps one pick up practices that are good for one at various times.
