om shanti,

Deepak

I will give you a brief introduction of RAJAYOGA.

Raja literally means King and Yoga comes from the

Sanskrit word 'Yuj meaning yoke. link, communion'.

This form of Raja Yoga does not involve Physical postures chanting reciting

mantras practising rituals or penance.

There is no reliance on a guru/master but a high degree of personal responsibility

Its an open-eyed form of meditation when proficient at it you will be able to maintain a meditatve state throughout the day.

There are three meanings to Raja Yoga which will help you understand it better:

First RajaYoga is the King of all the yogas.

It works directly with the mind.

Raja Yoga secondly means that yoga which leads to Mastery (Sovereignty or Kingship) of the self

Usually we dont have contol over our mind/ thoughts, or sense organs we are often slaves to our habits and addictions. This yoga enables mastery of the mind and our senses.

Raja Yoga thirdly means Link/Connection /Union with the Supreme. This connection is the ultimate relationship.

Raja Yoga meditation depends on thoughts.

"Thought is the energy of the mind."

Every thought is a drop of energy . Think how many thoughs you create in a moment.Thought are very powerful.

We experience thought as feeling. In other word feeling follows though.

There are three kinds of thoughts positive, negative and mundane.

There is initially a 7 day foundation course which is of course free.
