suchandra 1 Report post Posted April 20, 2008 Hare Krsna, could someone please teach me how to post pictures on this forum. I know how to add attachments but do not know how to put whole pictures from websites into the actual post? I am basic at computer. thx. 1) surf to http://tinypic.com/ or any other pic upload station and upload a pic from your computer. 2) Copy that url and paste it into pic mask of your post. 3) or type where you want your pic to appear. <embed src="http://krishna.terapad.com/resources/3490/assets/videos/Ganesha.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" height="400" width="500">

suchandra 1 Report post Posted April 20, 2008 thx heaps mate is there anyway to cut pics from webpages directly and post in our forum posts? of course you can directly link to any pic of other websites - although this practice is sometimes criticized or even blocked (e.g. photobucket.com) since it slows down a website when lets say hundreds of people have linked to its pics. dasa 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2008 thx heaps mate is there anyway to cut pics from webpages directly and post in our forum posts? Here is one way. 1) Go to the page with the picture you want on it. For this example it was http://puskarpaintings.com/gallery/Sri-Caitanya-Mahaprabhu?page=6 2)Right click your mouse while cursor is on the picture you want to copy. 3) At the very bottom you will see "Properties" Left click on that. 4) Under Image Properties, you will see "location:" for my example it will have http://puskarpaintings.com/gallery/albums/Sri-Caitanya-Mahaprabhu/haridas.thumb.jpg 5) Left click that link to hi lite it. Then Rt click that link and click "copy." 6) In your post that you want the picture to be in, you type That should work if i explained it right.
