Hi,

My mom is suffering from a Motor neuron desease. Could any one suggest any medication for her...?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Naveen

Sorry to hear that. What is the conditioned called? Also while this forum can sometimes offer some good health tips it is no substitute for professional diagnosis and prescription. The best you can hope for here is a tip on something to further research and bring to the attention of some medical profressional before giving to your mother.

motor neurone disease is basically a degenerative disease... where the nervous system begins to fall apart... the body loses control over movements as the neurons which control movement and trigger muscles stop functioning... i think ayurvedic medicines meant for the brain should have a effect on the condition... but many ayurvedic foemulations have some toxic elements which can cause reactions in the disease mentioned... so you will have to consult a very good ayurvedic practitioner before starting any ayurvedic treatment.

Some seek medical advice and cannot find a cure from any faith healers, crack pots or doctors. Here is a true story about parents who researched their childs disease and discovered what no doctor could - a cure! Krishna helps those who help themselves.

The material body is important for spiritual awareness. Eventually however, it fades away anyway due to decay SO WE SHOULD ALL USE THE VESSEL WE ARE IN FOR SELF REALIZATION INSTEAD OF TRYING TO SQUEEZE MATERIAL PLEASURE OUT OF IT.

Anyway hope this helps

It is the soul that is important (who your mom really is), ones state of mind is coming from the soul or jiva which is consciousness that pervades the body or vessel the soul occupies. We chant Hare Krishna to reawaken the soul to its full potential as servant of God (Krsna) that one has forgotton long, long ago. Best to play CDs of Krishna kirtans and at the same time do what you can to be heathy and help others remain healthy.

With no scientific training they took on the medical establishment and set about finding a cure. And in 1986 it seemed they had succeeded.

Don't let anyone tell you what you can do or achieve, even in Spiritual Life!!
