suchandra 1 Report post Posted March 3, 2008 Stark Reminder http://www.mukundagoswami.org/node/4768 Submitted by Mukunda Goswami Thought For the Day: When Srila Prabhupada first came to San Francisco, he wanted a caption placed on the wall of the Frederick Street temple. The caption was for a 20" X 28" Brijbasi poster depicting Krishna all alone, playing his flute, with the Yamuna River flowing in the background. The caption's translation - from Rupa Goswami - read, "If you still desire friendship, society and love, then do not look upon that beautiful young boy, standing in his three-curved position, playing his flute, with his lips brightened by the full moonshine." Srila Prabhupada's followers appreciated this quote.
