You are misunderstanding me, all I said was you are not worthy to call yourself Bhairo not in a million years are you worthy of his name. I am his child thus my name, are you Bhairo Baba? Can you rid me of my sins? Are the temper of Lord Shiva? No I am sure. Stop being ignorant and think before you act. And further more I am a girl. Geez cant anybody get that.Just try and understand the weight of my words. You may think it is an honour but could you carry the weight of the name you have chosen?, it is such a powerful name, you dont even know.

Glad to see we're all active in Shakti Sadhana again (and just after I've come to embrace Kali Mata's worship again). As for this little scuffle that's going on, I'll try and throw my two cents worth in, however being relatively new to Hinduism, I obviously can't give the same insight that the three of you could.

Regarding this Kaani Maa, I noticed Bhiro spelt her name *Kaarni* in one post. There is a Mataji worshiped mainly in Rajasthan and Gujarat called Kaarni Maa, who is believed to be an avatar of Durga Maa. Are you sure you aren't refering to her. Perhaps her and Kanya Kumari's worship got mixed together over time?

Now Bhiro, it is true that the lord warmly accepts most types of worship that we offer him, however for the sake of tradition and practice we should indeed try and preserve and preform rituals as our ancestors have. To put it simply, thought most types of worship are accepted by God, some help us advance in satsang, and help our connections with God grow, more then others. Hence, why we have these approved rituals which must be preformed properly, to help us strengthen this tie, and help us advance spiritually. Also, to comment on this dog incident that occured to you, though this dog that appeared to you may have been none other then Bhairava, that doesn't mean all dogs should be worshiped as Bhairava during pooja.

hey Baobabtree great post on varahi have this site saved however i will explain and probably you all will get what it is i mean when i said that there is no Kaani devi as this form. No disrespect Bhiraiv Child: in the temple i once used to attend this is the place i learnt of maa( god bless) there is a murti of a devi where they pelt the coconut on the ground in her pooja where it cracks in many pieces. now the pujarie there and his family teachings is that this devi is believed to be Kanya kumarie and they call her Kaani devi for short. not Kaarni devi for i had once questioned the spelling. Now within my reaserch there is no Kaani Devi mentioned in sacred texts for this is me point which however threw this purohit bhiro into a tantrum. what i had meant from the start is that you would not call on devi a next name in prayers, offering and pooja and when you dont see the results you cast blame that the devta is not answering your prayers when it is fact the persons' teaching you and your self to blame. why i say oneself is because as a spiritual person the onus is on oneself to further learn what is said and investigate to try and go one step further and not just rely on what is said.l am not discrediting any one guru but the guru gives a theoretical way in preaching but not practical so one has to learn for oneself. so this was my point. even though all roads lead to the same destination by carefully reading the signs on the street names one would not go round in circles.

hey Bhiraiv Child i not taunting youngie i just wantd to know if him had meaning for i have the chalisa and not the meaning no joke i done with him long time. and a question what you meant by hope yuh good ? if was meh health yes i dey poke ah poke but no pork nor beef.

first up welcome baobabtree i glad to see you thinking i spelt the devi kaarni because that is devi am talking about but because of pusarie being so old i could not confuse him so i used kaani but all in all there is a devi called that. but the point i really trying to make is that you dont know all the devi's or everything about them so you shouldnt say that they dont exist understand.that was the point is best you leave it now alone.

i accept what you are saying about going the traditional way which is true but remember that hinduism is alway evolving.for instance 200 or even 100yrs ago kali puja was know as an animal scarifice puja but now it has a different way to worship her in sadha form or the offering of coconut instead of animals but still i do try to stick with tradition as much as possible ok for instance i developed my shakti the traditional way which is through guru diksha but still i do not critise other methods cause i am not all knowledgable jai panchmukhi hanuman baba.

i am not saying that all dogs are bhairo baba but i was trying to say that god which is bhairo baba could take any form he chooses because he is god next we dont worship dogs in bhairo puja but we do offer food to them because thats his vahana.

thanks for the website but i have that info already i have some more info about how to do shri chakra puja which i go post later on.

but honestly i glad to see what you posted about kaarni devi because they are the same devi ok beautiful.

thanks very much it shows you are thinking my brother.

hey pusarie five get better ok.

and i would jus like to say happy happy mahaa shivratri may lord shiva shower his blessings to you all.

jai shambo shivaiya namah hara hara mahadeviaya bam bam bolanatha namah

pundit bhiro take win on your point but then my question to you is if Kaarni devi is Kaani devi then how does one poojay her what is her function what is her mantra, what is her colour, who is her consort if she has any, what type of chariot has she on what day, time, period what moon should i worship her, is her type of prayers different in any other ways what direction should sit to best poojay her. and please dont give me that because she a form of durga then dura maa theories applies then you will just conceed to my very point and please dont misunderstand that with my age comes a little knowledge of which i am proud.

i will get all the details for her ok pujarie anyway its true with age does come knowledge but there are lots of devi's that we dont know everything about for instance guhya kali and pulmati devi but as i say somtimes i make mistakes to honestly its what being human is all about but the sin is not making the mistake the real sin is not learning from your mistakes for instance i was doing shivratri puja for some people who does go to the temple in roosilack i was asking them if they does have big puja but they said no so i asked why and they told me they does have shiv puran yagna and dat there temple is a shiv shakti temple which is very very very kool

but i didnt know that.

The nav durga are the 9 forms of durga which are worshipped in the 9 days of her festival.

maa kali or maha kaali is a aspect of the destructive form of the goddess...

sitla was the goddess who is believed to control the illness of small pox and was invoked to help one in surviving it

lalita parmeshwari is a form of lalita the mother goddess of the sriyantra and the dasamahavidya

chamariya and phulmati i believe are local aspects of the devi worshipped in the hindi belt of UP Bihar.

Guest SHANTI

Hi I am from Trinidad and I need some information and advise .I got married and moved in with my in laws about 10 years .They carried out the tradition of doing (dee work) offering of bisuit ,butter cigarette and rum to Spanish dutch who live in the cane field and who now resides in our property.I live next to the cane field. They also did hog pooja when we got married and when my son was born.My father in law even used to give his blood to the Spanish dutch. He died about 4 months now my husband has not carried out the tradition of feeding the dutch.During this time I was informed by numerous pundits I have a Shakti and the dutch wants me out of this property because evil and good cannot live together. These dutch usually stifle me in the night, squeeze me and cause numerous body pains. What do I do ?Somebody can you please advise me what to do to get these dutch out of the property and never hurt me again.

A person who is desperate for help.
