Question about a book -- if you have read it

I am generally wary of pocketbooks (which in my childhood meant small

books that would fit in the pocket and not the current connotation of

wallet or money, as in "this really hits the pocketbook" and I am not

talking about this book in particular, please note the opening caveat

and disclaimer!).

The book is "Arudha System of Prediction" by C.S. Patel and it seems

to be a collection of tips and topics that have to do with Jaimini

astrology and also leans heavily on DevKeralam (Chandra Kala Nadi).

The author has presented a few excerpts from a few classics and is

modest to admit that he has only studied and excerpted a portion of

these classics. The book, therefore, represents a limited summary or

a summary with limitations if you wish to say so -- which is fine.

Her certainly did not try to pull the wool over the readers' eyes as

some other pocket books may have tried to do from time to time.

If you are a beginner, I would recommend it since there is some

extracted information all in one place. Hopefully, it does not

discourage lazy students from reading the original texts or reputable

translations of same. If you are an intermediate or advanced student

or astrologer -- read it too, since someday you may be writing an

article on the web or magazine or a book. I will leave it at that!

IF YOU HAVE READ IT, PLEASE POST YOUR COMMENTS, POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE

AND ADD TO THIS THREAD, SIMPLY, LOGICALLY AND DIRECTLY ;-)

Thanks!!

RR

Arudha System of Prediction, by C.S. Patel, 2000(first publication),

Sagar Publications -- then DPB Publications (?). I do not know why,

but nearly all Indian books do not have a Catalogue number like ISBN

etc. so cannot give that.

150th part of one sign,30 degrees divided by 150,and there are 00-00-12 part of one sign indicate "Chandrakala Nadi".Each Nadi has own effects in the life, and also managing living life,Example if one born in the Vasudha Nadi period,it is first Nadi of Mekh,Kark,Tula and Makar, gives results like a lady emporer, one brother and self two sisters, mother and brother also maintain the properties of people, and properties covers after battles by people, the lord of this nadi is Mars in Mekh,Moon in kark,Venus in Tula and Saturn in Makar, combined effects posible in all four signs, like in Mekh Mars>Moon>Venus>Saturn=Yodha>People>Physical Wealth>Properties.name count from first like A by Mars,H by Moon,R by Venus, and J by Saturn, the full name we can say like Ahiraj,Athiraj, etc.and If one born in the first nadi of Kark sign then we can make this formula like Moon>Venus>Saturn>Mars,People>Physical wealth>Properties>Battle.and name start from the name like H by Moon,R by Venus,J by Saturn and A by Mars.name by Hindu religions like Hariram, harajee, etc.
