Guest guest Report post Posted September 11, 2006 Hi all, Is anybody can suggest me how to wear a navratan ring? whether diomond should be towards outside (close to tip) of the finger or downside(close to palm) of the finger and in jyotish is there any reference regarding the effects of wearing a navratan ring. Because first of all a few lakhs of rupees have to be spent in getting quality stones for the ring, and even if you wear them , the human body cannot take in the effects plus or minus of all the gems, it may cause good, and bad both in this case, even if you manage to procure this, and will utlimately left more miserable. Even I am wearing cat's eye but sometimes I think that it has no effect at all coz all the things that is destined in life happens and nothing can stop what is written in our fate. So why is there gems astrology? Is it just to please the human mind? Guest guest Report post Posted September 11, 2006 Dear, Diamond due to its spherical elongated shape (like a round pyramid), can never be touching the skin , and there would always be some distance bewteen the skin and the diamond. All nine planets cannot be good or bad for anyone. All planets are also enemical or friendly towards some of the other planets. The resulating effect of a naratan ring is only zero. This is an honest advice by a simple astrologer. But if one wants to know which gem is going to be suitable for him, it also needs to be known, what does he desire at that point of life, which means which passive planet has to be activated to give the desired results. This is not so easy as it sounds to know which gem will give a person what. For ex. suppose ones 11th house is Cancer and therefore 11th LOrd is Moon, so make him wear a pearl so that he will get gains-- this will not be true in all cases, where 11th house is Cancer. maybe that the 12th Lord leo is more capable of giving 11th results, and he has to be actified,it may also be possible that the 8th lordis more capable of giving 11th house results, which may sound strange in normal parlance, but such things are not known normally to common astrologers,neither such theories are accepted too easily by everyone. So better off this subject.,otherwise a controvery would be created. Coming back to what you said, Cats eye may be the right stone if recommeded by a astrologer,or it may not be the right one, we cannot say. But suppose it is the right one, then just remove it for 6 weeks and if you are getting worse results, it would be confirmed that the Cats eye is working for you, and must have reduced the bad effects accruing to you of dasha/antar running whatever, and you would have been worse if not worn it. gems are great source of cosmic rays, only people should know which one is needed and how to make use of. regards, Bhaskar , "Rajan S.
