Dear members

Just like dog is considered as agent for rahu / ketu / shani..which graha is coorelated with cats. I observe, lots of people like cats. Just like, feeding dog is considered good remedy for shani/nodes; there must be some effects by feeding cats. Or it is considered negative energy.

Dear Members,

As part of my learning process, I am looking at Lagna Kendradi dasa (fructification of yogas) for my own chart. My rasi chart ( I think Lagna Kendradi dasa applies only to rasi chart ).

Rasi

+--------------+

\ Gk / \ /

\ Md / \ /

\ / \ /

\ / SaR \ /

\ / \ /

GL x As x AL

/ \ / \

/ \ Ra / \

/ \ / \

/ \ 3 / \

/ \ / \

Ju x

\ / \ /

\ / \ /

\ / \ /

\ / Ve \ /

\ / \ /

x HL Mo x

/ \ / \

/ \ Ke / \

/ \ / \

/ Su \ / \

/ Ma Me \ / \

+--------------+

Now for a period 6-20 thru 6-22 is as follows:

Lagna Kendradi Rasi Dasa (fructification of yogas):

Cn MD: 2003-11-19 (23:36:58) - 2010-11-19 (18:36:31)

Li AD: 2006-03-18 (0:02:17) - 2006-10-20 (19:21:16)

Ge PD: 2006-06-16 (0:19:09) - 2006-07-04 (8:30:32)

Sg SD: 2006-06-20 (14:18:38) - 2006-06-22 (2:58:48)

Now per rule as I understand, if I take Cn as lagna, I have saggitarius in 6th house with Mo (lord of Cn), Me (lord of Ge) and Ketu. In 12th house (Gemini), I have Sa and Rahu. Lord of saggitarius Ju in Virgo aspecting both 6th and 12th house. I also have HL in saggitarius.

What should be my prediction? It involves 6th house of enemies and diseases and 12th house of loss. It seems to be that some bad news in terms of health or money (HL) is pending in these two days ?

I also noticed that Mo, Ve, Sa, Rahu, Ketu and Ju which are involved in this dasa are defined as Yogada per Jhora (except Me which is my AK). Because all these planets are designated as Yogada, would the intensity of bad news reduced?

As a matter of fact, I am perfectly healthy as of today and I don't have a job so there is no question of losing job.

I would appreciate any correction of my understanding.

With Regards,

Pratap

Dear Prafulla ji,

According to the Lal Kitab a dog is a karak object of Ketu and a cat

Dear Varun ji

Many thanks for your note. So should people feed cats for rahu related remedies.

Lot many scriptures, consider dog for lord bharion - and Bharoin for rahu too. Since cat and dogs are opposite energies, so will it not contradic? Yes, many may argue rahu / ketu are opposite energies too. But they are not..both are agents of shani, for astro remedies.

Dear Prafulla ji,

Lal Kitab considers Saturn as the judge and rahu ketu as lawers.

Rahu acts as a prosecution vakeel where as ketu as a defendant's

vakeel. In that sense both could be termed as agents of saturn.

I have not come across any remedy in the Lal Kitab where it is

suggested that one should feed cats to appease Rahu. There are so

many remedies for appeasing Rahu , including feeding a sweeper or

giving him some money now and then , but not feeding a cat.

Dogs are fed to appease Bhairon because dogs are his companions, not

because they represent Bhairon. To appease Bhairon normally people

offer liquor at the Bhairon temple, like offering mustard oil at a

shani temple.

With naman to all gurujan

Dear Varun ji

Many thanks for elaborated clarifcations.

Why do people keep cats as pet..and as lot of people feel, that they carry negative energy (evils)..so there must be bad / good rahu in their chart. In many cultures, cats are considered auspicious like Russia etc. Quite contradictory!! Isn't it?

Dear Prafulla ji,

Yes you are right. But in India cats have always been associated

with mystery , greedy , not being faithful, ghosts and the like; may

be because it is nocternal by habit.

Dogs have always been considered as faithful, loyal companion,

contended and so on.

By and large in the north Indian villages keeping a cat as a pet is

discouraged.

dear friends

whatever varun trivediji has written is according to lalkitab and

cat is always recommended for feeding as a remedy for rahu in

lalkitab.

rahu is associated with maya. on positive side, it gives the native

occult science knoweldge, ability to cast spells and charms. the

cat is the most pet animal in CIS countries where several people

have specialised the astral travel, ether records and other mythical

mysteries.

in india, a cat is never treated as bad. a cat is supposed to have

the best sixth sense among all animals. if a native is going on a

work and that work is not in the good interests of the native or

some bad thing is in store for the native, a cat comes in front of

his way and give a warning that he shall not proceed further. also

it is believed widely that if any person kills a cat, he would get

all kinds of curses and sins in the world and no magnitude of

repentance will get him rid of the sin for killing a cat.

to get the positive results of rahu, lalkitab prescribes keeping

billi ki jer (cat's umbilical cord) as the best remedy. i was

fortunate to have got these rarest billi ki jer which is the most

powerful of all lucky charms, because it has an incredible record of

giving its positive results within 24 hours to the native. it is

widely believed and observed that where billi ki jer is kept in

sindoor and worshipped, wealth rains in that area. however, very

few people realise that an ordinary billi ki jer is less powerful

and a black cat's cord is the best.

not knowing any planetary affiliation to animals, feeding to birds

and animals and providing water to birds and animals would always

give the native immense merit (punyam) and one can do these remedies

without any consultation of an astrologer as they have no side

affects or backfiring negative results.

with best wishes

Dear Pandit Arjun ji

Many thanks for detailed note. Yes, feeding any animal must add to Punya.

One of our neighbours recently got a cat as pet; and I was wondering, what does it represent like. In fact, when they asked me, I was not aware, if they should have cats as pet.

I will clarify to them, that it will reduce rahu related dosha.
