Guest guest Report post Posted June 8, 1995 I'm surprised to hear that the CD-ROM version is locked by the same method which only allows to use the database on a specific computer. It should not be like this. This is too restrictive since the Licence Agreement only says 'only one person may access the software at any time', it does not say 'on this computer only'. Just modify the program so that it runs only if the CD-ROM is inserted. For example put a 500 MB key file on the CD-ROM and then check if this file exists. Such a CD-ROM is difficult to copy.
