Birthdate without time of birth !

I have a friend who will be getting married to a woman whom he has not met or known.

This is an arranged marriage and to make matters worse he has not got the woman's time of birth.

The bride is from India who was born in the 80s but the woman and her relatives

are telling him that they do not have the time of birth. So, he is in the

unfortunate position of not knowing the nature of the woman.

I am wondering whether without the time of birth one could gauge the character

and other details of the woman astrologically.

Any help in this regard will be greatly appreciated.
