Rahu on A6

I was very interested to read this post as I recognize all that you say.

With the A6 and Rahu, this would include graha drishti and rashi drishti would it not?

If a chart has rasi drishti of Rahu on the A6 in the rashi chart but neither

rashi or graha drishti in the navamsha then this 'venom' phenomenen should ease

in later life, is this the correct assumption?

 

Narasimha, I am considering coming to your conference this week. But I am still

checking on many details, so it is only a 50% chance I can get there. Is there

still room for me? Could I arrange accomodation with a local family at all?

I said earlier that Sanjay ji's A6 has Rahu and people with a strong Rahu or

under Rahu's influence tend to trouble him (but sadly he is sometimes attracted

to such people. Why did I say this?).

 

The lady in question has Jupiter at 21 deg 11 min in Cancer and Rahu at 21 deg

24 min in Cancer. Rahu causes a severe Guru-Chandala yoga and is a prominent

planet in the chart. He aspects Capricorn lagna. Moreover, the lady is running

Rahu's Moola dasa.

 

If anybody dismisses Sanjay or spews venom on him, immediately check their

chart. You will find a strong Rahu or Rahu dasa running.

 

The lady said she has a long association with Sanjay ji and his approach is

confusing and misleading. I too have a long association and have been his

student since 1997-98. I was the second student accepted by him (after Ashok

Koushik). He is not your standard astrology teacher. He likes to tease,

intentionally confuse you a little and watch as you sort your way through the

confusion. He teaches only what you are ready for and when you are ready for

it. If you need to get the maximum out of him, you need to be humble, sincere,

committed, and yet of inquisitive and questioning nature. You need to work

hard. He does not spoon-feed. This is the traditional Indian way. But, those

who are unfamiliar with this approach may misconstrue it.

 

Astrology is the science of light. As we become better and better astrologers,

agni tattva within us becomes stronger and stronger. Sanjay ji once said that

this strengthens Sun within us and increases ego. So good astrologers tend to

be egoistic. Though they say "vidyaa dadaati vinayam" (learning gives

humility), this is not true in astrology and some other agni tattva subjects.

We should consciously try to culitvate humility. This is not criticism aimed at

anyone. Most of us have this drawback and we need to try to overcome it.

 

I am very confident that none of us has the perfect knowledge of the teachings

of Sages. The moment we think we have the perfect knowledge and others are

wrong is the moment our growth stops.

 

Just for the record, people from various schools of thought in Vedic astrology

are welcome here. As long as people stick to astrology, differences of opinion

should be and will be tolerated. Perhaps we can learn from each other, if we

learn to ignore the arrogant and all-knowing postures of some. It is unwise to

ban certain views within the gamut of Vedic astrology.

 

Unfortunately, not every list has the same attitude. But there is no point in

worrying about what is not in our hands.

PS: People with a strong Guru-Chandala yoga can pray to Sun. When the priest

(Jupiter) is troubled by a bad man (Rahu), he does not fight back (being a

Brahmin) and silently suffers. It is only the king (Sun) who can punish the bad

man (Rahu) and give relief to the priest (Jupiter). If your Jupiter is shackled

by Rahu, pray to Sun!
