The "Mrita Sanjeevani Vidya/Mantra" the Asura Guru SukraCharya was an expert in.

is the same as "Maha Mrityunjaya Mantra" or these two are two different.

 

May I request you to pleaswe Clarify my doubt.

I do not think both are same. But one more factor that Siva Purana says that

Lord Siva cursed that this Mrita Sanjeevani Mantra may not work. Becuase Lord

Sukra went on given birth to the died asuras hence I am not sure this mntra may

work well and please ask some priestly people whether we can chant this mantra.

I have come across 3 different views for this:

a) It is the same as the mrityunjaya mantra

b) It is a variation of the savitur gayatri mantra

c) It is a special combination of the mrityunjaya and savitur gayatri mantras

 

There is also a mritasanjeevani suktam which forms part of the yajur veda.

as Mritasanjeevani Vidya. This is as follows :

 

OM HAUM JUM SAH OM BHURBHUVAH SWAH OM TATSAVITURVARENYAM TRYAMBAKAM YAJAMAHE

BHARGO DEVASYA DHEEMAHI SUGANDHIM PUSHTIVARDHANAM DHIYO YO NAH PRACHODAYAAT

URVAARUKAMIVA BANDHANAANMRITYORMUKSHEEYA MAAMRITAAT OM SWAH BHUVAH BHUH OM SAH

JUM HAUM OM .

 

Another variation of the Mantra is as follows :
