Dear Denis,

If the Upapada and Arudha Lagna are together in the same sign, the native and

their spouse, spend much time together, in the relevant house-position, and

tend to neglect the indications indicated by that house.

i.e. UL and AL in the 4th house, may show a couple who neglects cleaning up the

house. Similarly the two in the 10th house, may show neglecting work/career,

because the couple spends so much time together.

Also the native is a natural giver, and enjoys sleeping, and is a candidate for

achieving moksha, depending on other factors.

Dear All,

If Upapada and Arudha Lagna are together in the

same sign only in navamasa in 3rd house and not in

rashi chart then also do that indicate the same

conclusion.

Regards

Parag

Thank you Visti.

Another detail : what if husband has AL and UL together, and wife does not have ? Or reverse.

Thanks, Denis
