Hi,

If anyone has a good time for a chart of the United

States I would love to see either the time or the

chart. I would think it might be July 4, 1776, but

dont know what time of day would be correct. Thanks

Dear Donna,

Rick Houck wrote (in "The Astrology og Death") that he had established

June 19 1776 at 11:53 hours in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania as the "TOB" for

the USA, and that he had found this horoscope to function accurately,

allthough there was no historical evidence what really happened on this day.

But if Rick Houck says this is the correct TOB, I am inclined to believe it.

Regards, Liliana

I think Houck's time is worth looking at but if you're looking for popular

times note that 4.47 pm or so (up to 5.10 pm I think on July 4 is also

widely used. David Solte has come up with another good date Nov 15 1777

12.46 pm LMT York PA. It has some good hits too using the standard events

-- Pearl Harbour, JFK, Lincoln, etc. Good luck!!!

As an historical enthusiast, the use of 15 Nov 1777 at 12:46pm LMT, York, PA

is my preferred date for the time and place of birth of the USA. This would

be when the Articles of Confederation were adopted by the First Continental

Congress. I whole heartedly agree with the date, but must trust a better

mind's rectification of the TOB.

It is in this document that each of the 13 original states agreed to unite

under one federal government. I think of it as a legal and binding

document. Certainly, it has been used by some Western astrologers of note.

This is the date Mr. Solte used for what became the Scorpionic America

chart.

I think of the far more famous Declaration of Independence as a rallying

point for fed up colonists and an impudent thumbing of their collective

noses at ol' King George. More show than legal substance, but of far more

emotional value to Americans than the all but forgotten A. of C. All this

for whatever it is worth.

The Solar Fire Campion list gives 19 different charts for the US!

If I could have 2 birthdays, why should a huge nation not have 19 or more?

I believe it was Solte who rectified the TOB to 12:46pm on 15 Nov 1777.

That is the date/time I've been using to study predictive astrology, so I

suppose 12:46pm is my preferred time and Solte is the better mind.

However, your post and Liliana's re: Houck's TOB/POB has me intrigued. I am

currently at a loss for the significance of the events of June 19, 1776 at

Philly, though. As soon as my day calms down, I suppose I will have to do a

bit of research on that.

Mani mentioned a program that provides 19 birth data sets for the USA,

something I find astonishing. Certainly each astrologer using a given date

will have some reason compelling her to do so. I should think it would be

very interesting to work with charts calculated using a variety of birth

data - certainly in the case of the charts of a country, multi-national

corporation or other large collective endevor. Perhaps this would make a

good personal research project.

I thank you all for compelling me to question my own assumptions.

Dear scott,

I´ve been trying to copy or export this list of birth charts for the US to send

to you, but there is no simple solution. The export method will not work unless

you have related programmes like Nova, done by Hand. Adobe does not work.

If you are serious about doing research I am willing to slog and and give you

all the data. But NOT if your interest is minor, for it will take hours for me

to note down the data and type the stuff!

Let me know!

regards

Mani

PS!!! Just after writing the above I thought of a new way to try sending the

data. I am attaching it as a file. Please see if you can read it in MS Word and

let me know!

Alexander Marr, an expert in rectification came up with:

july 4. 17767h 43m 40s UT, to be corrected for Philly by longititude (about 2 am

there)

Mani,

I am truly touched by your willingness and efforts to provide me with this

data. However, it seems that has stripped off the attachment to your

emails.

If you would be so kind as to send it to me directly, I would be most

appreciative. I can be reached directly at saf

I don't think that the sharing of birth data found in a software program is

illegal, if anyone can tell Mani and I to the contrary, I'd appreciate

hearing from you.

Dear Scott,

It cannot be illegal, for the programme has an email export facility, but it

makes it HTM and doesn´t accept that. But now I found a way of getting in

ASCII and vetting it to be readable. It would be illegal to send the programme

file, or that has editing facilities etc.

Good luck with your research. The 2:00 am charts are not junk, for it was and is

quite common to meet at night. The British parliament used to have its sessions

only at night. That´s why all party members sit together: many go to sleep and

when the voting is done they are nudged awake by their colleagues and told to

say yes or no!

Mani

Dear Mani,

Thank you very much for your time and effort in providing the data re: the

birth data for the USA. If I wasn't really interested before in research, I

am now. So much data, so little time.

My isp provides me with a bit of web space. I think I will use said space

to chronicle this project. For what it is worth, there is nothing there

now, but perhaps there will be soon. The url is http://www.well.com/~saf

Namaste and thank you again!
