Hello friends

It has been observed that when ever there is a combination of Saturn with

seventh house or its lord or if Saturn is accepting seventh house and if

that native worship any god or deity the results will be very much bad he

will have to face much hardship in life his homes will be sell off and he

will live a life like a beggar so when ever such combination arises tell

that native not to worship but he can do meditation and only on his breath

only not on any statue

Krishna says in the Bhagavad Gita things which apply to all souls, even

those with Saturn in the 7th house; things including worshiping Him,

instead of lesser Gods.

One's chart doesn't change Spiritual Reality, only one's karma in this

body. Spiritual Reality, including how to worship God, remains the same

ultimately. Our karma is to teach us individual specific lessons.

Saturn in the 7th or 1st is certainly a difficult thing compared to

other placements, but that placement is specifically good for that souls

progress in this life. All of us have something hard to deal with, some

more than others, but all of us should realize that worshipping God,

becoming humble, being fearful of illusion, and so forth, is the same

for all of us, regardless of our charts.

To give up worshipping Krishna's form, for example, in favor of Pranayam

breath meditations, because one has Saturn in the 7th, is to me, misled.

I think that is putting the karma before the moksha, or the cart in

front of the horse.

In my experience, those who have Saturn in the 7th house are not good at

having relationships. That's the main effect. Otherwise, I have two

friends I can think of, both of whom are very wealthy and successful,

who have this placement. But neither of them can hold together a

relationship to save themselves, and I also find, that persons with this

placement are not overly concerned about being single. They seem to come

to a place by middle age where they just say "oh forget it", and give up.

I don't know of anyone with Saturn in the 7th, who is happily married.

Four such friends come to mind immediately- 3 unmarried, though

perfectly fine looking, all of them somewhat willing, but none of them

really willing to compromise much on the issue. One is unhappily

married, and the other 3 are not in relationships at all.

Hi Tarun Chopra,

I am interested in this. What is the source of this information? Was

it found through observation, or is it from a text?

I think it is possible to anger a deity through worship, but I always

assumed this to be caused by affliction to the 5th or 9th house. Why

the Saturn in the 7th? Due to its 9th and 1st house aspect?

Thanks for the thought provoking post,

Alex

While ominous sounding and striking cold fear in hearts, there might be

another way of looking at the following combination. All this promise of

hardship and homelessness can also corroborate with ones life as an ascetic.

Actually, this combination is present in charts of saints and hermits.

A beggar without any possessions will be forced to meditate on his/her

breath. Perhaps the combination promises great spiritual liberation and

potential sainthood.

I have two friends that have this placement and both of them married much

younger men. One is ten years older than her husband and the other is 14 years

older. The one that is ten years older has had a long term 25 year marriage to

this man and is still married although they are both very independent. The one

that is 14 years older was married to him for about 6 years and then divorced,

this was her third marriage. Interestingly her second marriage was to a man

that was ten years younger and that loved her very much and treated her like a

queen. She seemed unable to appreciate or to return his love and betrayed him

by seeing the other while he was on a meditation course and then divorced and

married the third husband. He then did much the same to her that she had done

to number 2. He was seeing his secretary behind her back and divorced her and

married someone else, someone younger and without the saturn in the 7th

placement. She has not gotten married since, and is not maintaining a

relationship long term with anyone, she just seems to like to be around her

friends.

Das:

Good to hear from you again.

I agree with your assessment of Saturn in the 7th. It does make normal

marriage difficult. But it is interesting that one can avoid marriage and

relationships for different reasons. That famous womanizer Warren Beatty

has Saturn close to the 7th cusp. He's happily married now to Annette

Benning but how long has it taken him to settle down? He's over 60 now! A

friend of mine with Sat on the cusp is the same way: has lots of

girlfriends but has no interest in settling down. Actually, he is

reasonably happy with someone now at age 36, although he hasn't married

her. And like you said, he's not that good at having relationships of any

kind. He has kept few of the friends he had in university. He's a

climber, a restless seeker of new people. Very likeable and makes friends

easily, and yet can't keep them. That strikes me a 'type I': socially

popular, likes variety, and doesn't want the responsibility of a permanent

relationship. 'Type II' is more what we think of with Saturn afflicting

the 7th, aspecting the 1st: lonely, a bit awkward with the opposite sex,

perhaps content with being alone. In a sense, they're polar opposites, and

yet they derive from a common placement.

Good luck with your class.
