Hi,

I just wonder what are the implications of RAHU being in fifth house

for a woman.

One famous astrologer told me it is going to create some problems for

children,

and that It is not a good placement for children.

Please throw some light on this .

I have Rahu in 5 as well.

However I also have:

Sun, 5th lord, conjoins 3rd/6th lord Mercury (a malefic therefore)

Jupiter, karaka for children, conjoins Saturn, a malefic

(by nature and lagna)

Venus, a maraka for Aries lagna, is in 5 from Jupiter

(malefic in 5th from Putra Karaka)

During periods in my dashas when these planets were running the first 3

levels of dasha, as in 1984 and now, two bad accidents happened with my kids.

In 84, my first nearly burned to death from hot water at age 1.

Recently, my 15 was in a serious car crash and has a damaged head to

some degree.

The transits make sense too. These accuracies more fuel my faith that

Jyotish is accurate.

When my recent Rahu bhukti started just in this recent year or so, I

thought that something would happen. I never thought it would be when

one day my son went for a drive in a real nice car with a real good safe

driver friend of mine. The other driver died. The cars were totaled. The

hospital bills so far are $30,000 and climbing for Eke. He has metal

plates in his head and TMJ. It's kindof heavy, but handleable

completely. Fortunately, there was enough insurance (ahh, 9th house

Jupiter).

Wow. Karma just comes one day as a phone call from the hospital

Chaplain. You arrive and there's a guy in a suit waiting JUST FOR YOU in

the emergency door, and who softly says "Let's go on back to the family

room and chat shall we?". Then eventually once they've prepped you, then

you get to go pull the curtain back, and see if it's alive or dead, and

what it looks like. I knew in Saturn/Rahu something would happen. It

did. The transits were on my sons first lord, which is in his sixth in

Aries. Kaboom kindof stuff.

Isn't it sometimes hard to carry the mantle of the knowledge of Jyotish,

or in other words, to be able to handle having foresight? Strange indeed.

But I personally have to proceed with life with gusto as best as I can

despite these realities. I personally have not been able to be happy

staying dark, in constant vigil of the possible miseries of life. I work

for good, and proceed with gusto. My moment shall come, until then, I'm

with Mick when he says "Let's do some living, after, we'll die".

(preaching to myself here- wake up, the Sun also Rises!)

Peace

das g.

Hi,

Rahu in the 5th need not necessarily deny children to a woman. It is important

to ascertain the positional strength (sthana bala) of Rahu amongst other factors

like kala bala, chestha bala, dig bala etc. Rahu in 5 for a Libra born will

behave differently whilst compared with Rahu in 5 for an Aries lagna (as in this

case Rahu will be posited in the house of his worst enemy the Sun and when one

runs the period/sub period of planets under the influence of Rahu he/she will

experience the malefic intents of Rahu in full strength) . However one may

safely conclude that for a woman any benefic aspect of Jupiter upon the 9th

house (bhava is better) will definitely ensure children.

That apart I am interested in knowing the ability of Rahu in 5 to do mischief in

terms of failed affairs and the propensity to indulge in speculation. Can

anybody throw light on this.

My girlfriend has the following...

Aries rising

Mars in 3rd in Gemini

Rahu in 5th in Leo

Moon in 8th in Scorpio

Jupiter, Saturn, Sun in 9th in Sag

Mercury in 10th in Cap

Venus, Ketu in 11th in Aquarius

She has a daughter who was given a vaccination within the 1st year or 2 and

subsequently became severely debilitated as a result of an adverse reaction

to the vaccination.

She has epileptic siesures every day and is on medication. She cannot walk

unassisted, nor feed nor take care of herself in any way, and is confined to

a wheel chair most of the time. She cannot speak, nor reason, etc. But she

is a happy, healthy child in other respects, and is almost 12 years old.
