In order to continue the good work initiated by ashish, I am posting

here one of the most powerful shiv kavach which is said to be swayam

siddh. This means that even if you chant it once it will give positive

results you do not require to chant it a minimum number of times to be

blessed by its efficacy. It is called sahastrakshar amogh kavach

It is mentioned it the article I am taking it from: july 97. that how

once atrader's son was on death bed due to cancer, and gurudev asked

him tio chant this amogh kavach sitting by his bed side non -stop and

he was saved. Whatever be the problem-graha badha, bhoot badha, tantra

badha,. Whatever be its material manifestation this kavach always

works. Whatever be the cause of mental stress this kavach will work in

reducing the problem

Further more no samagri is required. Chant it once daily in the

morning clean clothes after a bath. With full devotion. That is all. I

recommend it to everyone here, no matter what be the problem in life

so much so that I would even recommend keeping a copy with you and

reading it all day whenever you can if there is some serious problem

in life.

I cannot type in hindi sorry, may be ashish can do it. if any guru

bhai has a scanner and july 97 issue I will request scanning it and

loading it in the files section.

Viviyog

Take some water in your right hand (anjali) and chant the following.

Viniyog is done to honour the rishi and the powers associated with a

chant as well as to express ypour specific prayer

Aum yogeeshwar rishi anushtup chandah swayam sadashiv rudra devata

hraam beejam hreem shaktih hoom keelakam aum bhoor bhuvah swaha dig

bandhah sadashiv preetarthe pathe viniyogah

Meaning

Rishi - the saint who created this kavach is yogeeshwar

Chanda-the style of prose is anushtup

Devta-this si a pryer to the sadashiv rudra form of shiva

Beejam-the seed mantra from which initiates the power of the chant is

hraam

Shakti--- the power which accomplishes the required or aspired task-it

is hreem here.

Keelak-keelam provides protection to the required power to reach its

goal

Prayojan-what do you hope to gain, to please lord shiv

Digbandh---aum bhoor bhuvah swaha is what provides protection to the

Sadhak when he chants

This is a long kavach

Do you know how to say cow in hindi? I type it as gaaya here. Use that

as the reference in pronunciation.

well

okhli me sar diya to moosal se kya darna. guru poornima is on 24th.

let us all now following ashish's hard work try and post sadhnas

pertaining to guru dev or guru poornima.

come on youa ll can too. be a sport. i have tried to avoid mistakes

but will check it once again in afew days.

again a very very powerful shiv kavach. i never worry so much about

ishta devata. to me there is no worship of mother (all forms are one.

full stop) without, shiv ganapati is their child,

i again say what i heard from a great saint

worship of shiv is incomplete without worshipping ram

worship of ram is incomplete without worshipping shiv.

so just chant ram or aum namah shivaaya 11 times with the other.

as for krishna he is not a GOd to me, just some one close so who

woships him!!! me? never. this is the summary of my view of shaivism .

this is the thought i wish to pass on to all sadhaks, try to amke a

connection with the deity. this is the reason for all this noise of

ma, baba, beloved whatever. and do not do anything with fear,

fear and love can never co exist. God is for everyone. no one has a

better or a closer connection. just pray for it and it will happen.

Dear Friend:

Is there any way we can get the Hindi/Sanskrit version of it? I would

like to try it out but I just want to make sure that my pronunciation

is correct.

Also, there's a website http://www.epatra.com that would allow one to

send emails etc in various Indian languages. Perhaps one could make

use of it for writing down the correct pronunciation.

Thanks so much.

Hello Aditya

Firstly Thank you for this mantra you have provided, I wanted to ask you for some help regarding my situation, I am affected by black magic / ghost kind of a problem, I have tried many solutions for the past five years, I have come across numerous mantras but the most effective is a empowered person who is gifted to see & deal in such things,

Therefore I would like to request you humbly if you can provide me with any help of a guru how can specialize in helping me with this situation,

Please let me know

How to do Viniyog methodically as it is necessary to do. As what to do of the water taken in one's right hand after one has recited the Mantra of Viniyog

The second question - One has to do everytime whenever one is reciting the Stotra? I mean if somebody is continuously reciting the Stotra, should he recite the Viniyog everytime he is starting the Kavach afresh?

Daily I chant amoghshiv kavach since last 6-7 months, now I do not even have to look at the page and read. It was referred to me by our family pandit ji. I never knew as why I am reading the same, thanks for posting importance of chanting the same daily.

But what I read is different from the one you've mentioned & goes like ---

Om namoh bhagwate shadashivaai sakal,

Tatvamakai sakal, tatva viharaya sakal,

lokek hatre sakal, lokek gurveh sakal,

lokek hatre sakal, lokek bhatre sakal

lokek sakshino sakal, nigamguhai sakal

sakal varpradaye sakal duritatriya bhajnai sakal

------------------------

-------------------------

& ends with

sadashivai namaste namaste namaste.

If you can help me telling the difference b/w both the one, would be very helpful.

Regards

Sandeep

Is there any negativ side effects if you read some words of the kavach wrong?

And can anyone answer the questions of SapnaRani posted earlier in this thread?

SapnaraniHow to do Viniyog methodically as it is necessary to do.

A Shiva Bhakta's Spirtual Quest: "Amogh Sadaa Shiva Kavach" / "Sahastrakshar Amogh Kavach" (with English Translation)

I found on the above link a site which also mentions the Sada Shiv Kavach.

In the kavach somewhere at 3/4 of it you see a line with a stripe through it.

Do you not have to read that line in the kavach?

Because in the first post of devi_bhagat that line is in it.

So the question is do you have to say that line or not?

Namaste,

I forgot to ask some more things about the Sada Shiv Kavach.

Do you need to sit in some specific direction and asan while saying the Sada Shiv Kavach?

Do you have to wear specific clothing in a specific colour while saying the Sada Shiv Kavach?

Can you read the Sada Shiv Kavach in your mind or do you have to say it aloud?

Can someone pls help me with these questions?

Thx.
