  1. I guess this question might invite criticism. But still. what can sadhana do in attracting a girl? Can it really work? How? what kind of sadhanas can one do for this? Will it be necessarily a mantra sadhana? Will it be vashikaran or something else? Has this something to do with Kaamdeva? As Kaamdeva is for sex, which is the diety for love? This is not just a out of curiosity question.I would really like to see if sadhana works for this.
  2. Which one is correct Mantra for both Lakshmi and Narayana. "Lakshminarayanaya namha" or Lakshminarayanabhyam namaha? Please let me know if anyone knows which one of above two is correct.
  3. Dear All, Please help me getting correct Shloka references. I have been doing few workship daily since my childhood, told by my father (He suggested even if you memorize, read it each time you do patha to avoid any mistake in pronunciation). 1. Saraswati Kavacha - I could find this written in Brahma Vaivatra Purana 2. Shree Sukta - Could not find this in Rigveda Samhita (2-3 authors) 3. Bhairav Upasana - Don't know where to find (FUM FUM FULLA ..(Don't remember completely, only heard).. DIN DIN DINDA TIKINDAM......) I had all the above shloka, Sukta and Kavacha in hand written format written by my Grand father. Some how that copy is not very clear now. I am looking for the original TEXT for all of them, Where i could get the Correct copy. I had to face my father's sudden death last year, so do not have any clue, where to find this now. I know i can get these shloka books from any book shop just in 50 Rs, however I have a doubt of authenticity of those books. I brought some Sarasvati Kavacha books and i could find a lot of differences in Shlokas. Thanks in Advance

  7. It has been said that the Supreme has innumerable names. The Supreme is infinite and he cannot be fully comprehended even by the Devas, much less human beings. This unlimitedness does not apply only to names but to his forms, qualities, pastimes, knowledge and power. However people love to speculate about his names. "His name is this. His name is also that." That is how people speak. Often people want to attribute names to the Supreme that are excerpted from non-Vedic literature while denying the very gist of those teachings. This is not valid. It is like extracting the name Vasudev Krishna from the Bhagavad Gita and then dismissing the rest of the text. Due to his causeless mercy the Supreme hears the prayers of all regardless of the name used. However names carry connotations. Therefore he has given us one thousand names with which to worship him. They are the best names to use because they remind us of his forms, qualities, pastimes, knowledge and power. Chanting those names is a very auspicious form of worship. Those who have devoted themselves to non-Vedic literature will of course choose to worship with the names stipulated in those writings. A Sanatan should not disturb or criticize them but he should encourage his fellow Sanatans to follow the path laid out by our scriptures.
