Cistern: Means a large receptacle for storing water, a tank, a sac or cavity containing a natural body fluid. What is in the well? This is what comes up in the bucket. In other words when you open your mouth the bucket is up and what ever is inside will come out. They established their own doctrine and listened to ministers that hewed out their own cisterns. They do not have the living waters of God. John 4:10-14 10... if thou knewest the gift of God,...thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water. 13..Whosoever drinketh of this water shall thirst again: 14 But whosoever drinketh of this water that I shall give him shall never thirst: but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. Jerusalem is part of Israel given to the Israelites by God. Man is dividing and taking land that God gave them and giving it away. Thus when you see it stand where it ought not. Israel belongs to God. 2 Chronicles 9:8 God loved Israel, to establish them forever Man will take that which belongs to God, and will divide it between men. But all who support this move will die a horrifying death in the flames of Hell. This is what brings the son of God (Jesus) back to Earth. Please reread my post I don't see where I stated that I was a christian. "Christian" as with other titles is only a label. I feel that labels, languages and culture differences separte man. Where is the true word of God? In church... guess again Which church? A few, that is close. What could have went so wrong, when Jesus gave so much? His life his blood; yet many left his love to follow man seeking physical health, prosperity, natural mans wisdom, knowledge, theories and philosphy: at its best a sorry losing way to go. Jesus gave us his best and only way to go to have everlasting life. Theist- That is so true, I believe true interpretation comes only from Jesus Christ. That is why Jesus spoke in parables and stated, "to him that hath ears let him hear". The bible is a spiritual book and is only understood by the spiritual. I also believe that God teaches us everyday as we grow in him. Mark 1:21-27 Here Jesus was at capernaum on the sabbath and he entered into the synagogue. Notice they were astonished at his doctrine! Notice there is a man with an unclean spirit. BUT no one knew it. They were comfortable with this spirit. The unclean spirit was comfortable as well. UNTIL: The true word of God walked in. Then he cried out. Look at his words- Saying, let us alone, what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth. How sad in that some people have gone to some of these places to learn of Jesus and to worship him and have gotten so deceived. The point is make sure you are being taught the true word of God. I agree salvation is very important, I am only saying that we receive it in the end as read in Matthew 10:22. Jesus mentioned several times to be born again and to become a new person this is the only way to receive salvation, so is it important? Well according to Jesus it was. I recently read an article that stated that Bush will be presenting a peace treaty (road map) within the next few weeks that will in the end split Jerusalem between the Israelites and the Palestines.
