Dear guest in truth , when you surrender to krishna you don't give up anything, you just realize that what you thought were there, were not there in the first place to begin with, so just because fifthchapel person tends to talk about bible doesn't mean we shouldn't listen... Bible is God's word? and Jesus the "messiah" of God? well that may be true, however i would like to ask you one question fifthchapel... Forgive my ignorance, but you say Jesus gave us the "ONLY" way to the truth, so are you telling me that the only way to find the truth is to believe in Jesus alone?

When one of these people said God is pure light, well, i saw light but i didn't quite see anything else. I didn't see people serving a seperate entity, but everything was like no where. Nothing was there, neither god , neither the servants, neither the gopis, gopas anything. So, may be i didn't quite see God... may be I am just imagining it.

Well in my perspective, "religion" is a set of beliefs through which you search for the truth. Whether you search for the truth by making allah supreme or some other hindu god supreme does not make a difference because it is your personal opinion. The truth is, you cannot marry some one because he is a hindu or a muslim or a christian etc. There is love and caring involved. Well, atleast i think there is love and caring involved. Marriage is different from religion and religion of oneself is a set of beliefs that one believes. All the notions however end in one result, just like all the rivers end in one ocean. If you marry a muslim, you shouldn't marry a muslim because he is a muslim but because he is a person you adore and love. Atleast i think thats the way it should be, the wise and the enlightened think that way due to the fact that they have no mental modifications of various kinds. The truth is that we are all one and one split to many and many converging into one race, not many see the truth that we are one race and that counts, if you marry one, you should marry one to love one. I am a hindu, but I am no different from a muslim, christian jew etc. due to the fact that my ways are only ways in which i reach the supreme just like the others shall reach the supreme in their own way. -enlightened.

However, this experience was not due to a place, time or being in a certain way. I just thought i was going crazy when such a thing happened. Anyway, it felt as if it was natural.

well, the whole asia has been like that, in china if they know they have a girl, then they either kill her or give her up to the orphanage just because they want to have a boy. Its sick! This will bring disaster in the future because there will be a less population of girls in the future. Anyway, this is just sick, but there is no way to stop it, unless we educate these people about the situation or change their thinking and culture, which is the utmost impossible thing to do. Anyway, nothing makes sense, the whole world is going wrong, everywhere i see, i find dishonest, immoral people everywhere, but nothing matters. Abortion or no abortion, life or death, because it is all meaning less. -------------------------------about the gay situation. well, you see gays are people too - they just have a different sexual orientation due to the abuse or what ever they have suffered in life. Its the society that makes them "gays". Gays are not evil, if gays are evil then you and I and everyone is evil because gays are nothing but humans. If you are attached to being good, then do not discriminate evil. I don't care what pope says, I don't care what any body says. My philosophy is this, if even a child says something logical then listen and follow it, if a great man and a spiritual leader says a dumb thing - deny it. it is not the man we admire, it is the knowledge in the man, it seems that we are all different just like a wave in the water.

This is a totally wierd experience and it could be a result of me going crazy about the spirituality stuff. However, i would like to share it with you. Well, i usually meditate, the habit started when i was really young like 11 yrs old. I wanted to meditate because i felt a certain type of conservation of energy in me when i meditated. Anyway, from like 2 days ago i really got resentful with the world and its craziness, I kind of got totally lazy because i didn't see any sense in doing anything. The whole world seemed just ridiculous and an abode of immense stupidity, people killing each other in various countries due to wars... they never try to negotiate peacefully. Some people tended to go to sheer fanaticism even in religion. It seems that they like their religion so much that they bash others religion etc... then i thought about people raping others, people killing others, people going to jails, people trying to accomplish, then I saw all of these people driven by attachment, hunger for power and limitations on their bodies like mad men and women, i kind a like saw everything going into absolute destruction....So i really got mad today and when all my family went out I opened all the windows and let some air through and just meditated. I went in to such a trance that there was this voice in me saying " what is this world", "why hatredwhy compassion" all these things are meaningless , "why gainwhy losewe gain to lose and lose to gain". Then it hit me, everything is meaningless in this world. hate or compassion, wealth or poverty, life or death, because nothing stays permanent. Then i had another thought, "why do we do all these things that we do?".... then it hit me again, due to the fact that we try to develop our ego, our position which is relative to this changing world. Nothing is permanent here, then why do we strive to gain it? Everything seems to be running here due to attachment, ego and a notion to obtain something. Then i had another realization, if attachment, ego and all these other mentally formed notions didn't exist, then there is no "US".In other words, there is no "ME" or "YOU" or any sort of individualism but pure space. Then i saw this space void with nothing in it but light. Nothing existed except things emerging and leaving as if they were never there in the first place, I saw this whole "worldly existence" as a vibration that occurs due to sheer disturbance. wierd huh? I wasn't scared or anything after this...may be i should stop going into this spirituality thing too much. -enlightened.

The muslims are prone to war for the same reason why every one who thinks of war is prone to war.... During the first era of humans here on earth, people solved conflicts with violence as a great tool. Now, the wise say, it is wrong and every one should realize that we are all humans and we have minds of our own and values and we should work with such values but... no one cares about the wise and the morals they set... so they keep killing themselves in large numbers to settle their conflicts most of the time. examples: All the conflicts which wer solved by history of the man kind Examples of some peaceful resolves: Mahatma Ghandhi trying to get independence of India... Martin Luther King trying to get his unalienable rights as a human being. So, we can say, the only reason for war is because we are slaves to such a notion, as we are slaves to the community's blind ideals and notions... This is a really cool site that talks about vedic math. They basically calculate stuff like (256)*198888 in like a split second. You see, with male babies, the guy stays at the house to take care of his old parents when he gets older, but the girl leaves.-the truth. It is also a sad truth that girls are "expensive". You might laugh , but the truth is the family has to pay alot of money to find a guy to take care of the girl in the future- this is just sick in my view, women need independence and the only way a person will get it is through having jobs and everything, but in india, there are not enough jobs for men, so who will give women any jobs. The whole situation stinks on ice. The discrimination against women has got to end, there should be a way to stop the dowries and the early marriages... An example: My neighbors are from India and the husband works and the wife just sits there all day at home and she has no one to talk to . She is like 23 and she is newly wed and she is practically "mechanical Engineer". She didn't have much choice in her marriage either, her parents looked for an indian guy in america and when they found one, they invited him over to their house and they got married like after 2 weeks. She only new him for two weeks and she decided to marry him and come here to america by leaving all her family /friends in India.... and when she finally comes here she basically gets the part of the house wife... Engineer becomes a house wife? thats not fair! -enlightened.

you see in Islam, there is one and only Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent being and he is called allah... In Islam, you have to worship this being in no form, he is supposed to be this leader who is supposed to be your sole maintainer. he punishes the bad and destroys evil blah blah blah. now don't disagree on this people because if you do, then well duh, you don't know about islam at all. On the other hand, In Hinduism, there is one and only Omnipotent, Omniscient and Omnipresent being. You cannot even grasp the magnificence of this being in your mind, because she or he is so complex. So, to make things simple, the hindus basically worship her (or him) in the way they like because he is not only your sole maintainer, but also your lover and comes in any form you want to respect him in. Some people want to respect the god as hanuman, who tends to be in the form of a monkey. The others worship him as a wise elephant form god and others worship him as a wonderful rama , krishna, Laxmi, Durga, Shakthi, blah blah blah. excuse my ignorance, but why would some one try to love krishna for a position? I mean, isn't serving krishna as a gopi or a gopa a thing that takes away ego?. If this takes away ego and makes you realize who you really are, then where is the notion of position coming from? Anyway, i also have another question for you: well if we are all souls where did we have the "qualification" coming from? I mean, krishna himself says 'i am in every one', so if he is in every one then every one is qualified... right? Muslim fundamentalists are ignorant, i read koran once, it said that people who do not believe in "allah" and who are not Islamic people can be buried alive and it is not a sin. that is just ignorance right there... the problem is that these muslim fundamentalists have great effect on people and there are lots of those innocent uneducated people in the middle east who are influenced by that. its so sad. However, in my opinion, any fundamentalist is horrible, because they are fanatics.... Many Jails all over the world have more males than females in them. Also, more males in various places are very aggressive compared to females, you see that from the time of their birth to the end of their life. You see the aggressiveness usually in a teenager. Most boys at this age seem crazy and very aggressive /images/graemlins/mad.gif Anyway, lets put all those statistics aside because there is no knowing of how peaceful the woman dominated society would be. Look at the amazons from the ancient macedonian society, they were female dominated society and yet they failed to establish harmony. so...what we need is a harmony of domination or co-domination or no-domination.
