    Nah,

these stuffs work but you need to receive it from a capable Guru. Receiving Mantra from Guru who has acquired perfection in such only works. So don't be a fool trying out stuffs from the internet or the books. Otherwise all the people have been Tanntrics !!!

So Right!!! Everybody wants to be a pseudo tantrik and think mantras are just a collection of words when they get them out of a book off the street. Many times these books also contain spelling mistakes. Guru and diksha is needed.

    Jai GuruDev!

    My brother's collection ..

I'd a collection of a number of SABAR mantras ..

like to share & spread the knowledge ..

for those only who'r really interested ..

    Jai Gurudev!

Sabar Mantras are a very important line of sadhna that is both easy and quick acting. If you happen to be an issp member, why don't you create a separate folder in the data or Files section and put the mantra and procedure in it?

This way, all the members and Gurubhais can take advantage (if you really plan on sharing the knowledge with all). Thanks.

    best regards,

    Jai Gurudev!

Hello everyone. Just joined today. I've been about 35 years in the spiritual line and thought I could contribute something to this thread. Before I proceed however, could I ask if this forum is exclusively for Hare Krishna devotees? I ask this because I notice almost everyone signing out with ' Hare Krishna.' I did not check carefull when I joined, and thought this forum was for people who follow the Hindu way of life. I'll write again after I receive a reply for this query.

    Regards

Well, pretty much, as you have rightly noticed. There is no official rule saying so though.

What do you do during Diwali?? Is there gift giving? I read that there are fireworks and lighting of candles..

Diwali is one of the biggest festivals of the Hindus. It is most importantly celebrated as victory of Rama over Ravna and Lakshmi pooja.

Diwali lagna has special astrological meaning in regards to Lakshmi sadhnas that give quick result on this day. Many spiritual festivals in Hinduism are followed traditionally as a custom, but have a greater hidden meaning and importance.

  5. Yes we certainly need a capable Guru who has walked on the sure path leading to the goal. Only such a guru can lead. Rest is all preaching propaganda. Indeed it is a great fortune to find such a Guru. It is even a greater fortune to sit near the feet of such a Guru and be able to learn from him.

    Jai Gurudev!

Sure we all are seeking the God's Kingdom. But the difference is the path. Some may be too long, some got the shortest way...and others may be walking with the dead end ???

Now what remains is to find the proper path to reach there. Otherwise the search would be mere a revery.

We can go even higher in recognizing the truth than the well known masters and sages of the history but need a capable Guru to guide us.

Have you heard of anyone who claims to make person with full devotion and unconditional love greater than anyone?

Don't you think that each person is unique in own way?

as far as I know it is very much a Gaudiya tradition. you can even see Deities of Radha and Krsna painted with three horizontal lines symbolizing Lord Shiva (creation, maintenance, destruction) on that day.

    Jai!!

I haven't quite seen traditional Vaishnavas doing that.

Can you please show another picture or give references where do they dress up Radha Krsna as Lord Shiva Parvati? This is interesting. Thanks.

    Hari bol
