  1. Hi! If I may ask- how do you know it is this person and not some other ? In my limited knowledge, I have not come across teeth being connected with any prayoga or siddhi. In any case, I suggest that you can take up pranayama. This is indeed part of tantra upasana and it will give you more energy. Even if someone is stealing from you, you would have more energy. What kavacha, mantra and stotra are you chanting/using ? Consequences are across lifetimes, even if it is of little comfort to you now. Use of such practice for dush-karma affects not only the one who is doing it, but is supposed to affect even that person who is his Guru.
  2. Best thing is to protect yourself- either by using a physical/mantra kavacha or by getting someone else to do it for you. Do not retaliate in kind - it will create bad karma for you - which you will need to pay for. If it is a lower prayoga, it will backfire instantly. If it is a higher prayoga, it will any way be paid for..
  3. Dear Kalika Putra, I know its years since, but did you make any progress on these.. If you have- is there any way I can have access to these ?
  4. SetiDraconis, Dont look for a teacher- look for a Guru. A Guru is much, much more than a teacher. As Kabir said " If all the seas were converted into ink and all the trees in the world into pens, it would still not be enough to write the glory of the Guru'. In the tantrika path, it is essential to have a Guru- it is said that Guru, Devatha and Mantra are the same. If a path appeals to you- stick to it. If a Guru appears, hold on to him/her. Do not be misled by a million people who say a million things. Be clear about what you want to achieve. Is it union with the ultimate soul- then it is wonderful. Law of reciprocity(karma) applies to any action performed with a desire in mind, so beware about using tantra prayoga for just the shad prayoga ( marana, mohana etc) by themselves. It is like using a golden spoon to clean ordure. Above all- the biggest enemies one has are the shadripu( 6 enemies) of any spiritual aspirant. If you have to do any prayoga, it is on them that one needs to do so.. I am just a beginner.. Anything I say, I say because I care. Jaya Devi Durge
  5. Dear ram.warrior- Namaste- doesnt your comment come out of rajas ? Isnt a good tantrika or sadhaka of any kind supposed to aim towards sattva ? Also a prayoga that misfires may go back to the person who did it. I am not superior to you- but I am disturbed by your post- on many levels. Jaya Devi Durge
  6. Does anyone know of a publisher who publishes Rudrayamala Tantra- Gauri Tantra in Sanskrit with preferably Hindi/Tamil translation ? I have only been able to get the Uttara Tantra part of the Rudrayamala Tantra.
  7. Namaste- this would depend on many factors. Things to be considered would be: 1. How much time do you have ? 2. What is your regular practice ? 3. Where are you situated- what kind of materials are available to you ? 4. Have you been initiated- do you have a Guru ? 5. What kind of spiritual practice have you done in the past ? 6. What kind of family do you come from and what kind of family religious practices have you been exposed to ? If you have a Guru, it would be best to ask the Guru. It is important to know these things even for an inexpert person like me to be able to suggest some thing. A lot of these things depend on these various factors. What I have seen for many people is that in addition to Guru's instructions, Guru's grace AND/OR Goddess's grace(the shastras say there is no difference- Guru, Devatha and Mantra are one) helps one pick up practices that are good for one at various times. Jaya Devi Durge
  8. Hello! The namboodiris at Sooryakaladi mana in Kottyam are good at this. Please go there- they can help you. Jaya Devi Durge
  9. It is possible to quote scriptures day and night and say that one form is superior over another. It is so much better to do sadhana/upasana and realise one of these forms reside in ones heart. It is well known that pride, intellectualisation are all obstacles in ones spiritual path. Let us concentrate on our own practice. If seeing Durga as Vaishnavi or Narayani or a demi-goddess is what gives you pleasure, be happy my friend. Let us not waste time in arguments- time better spent in japa, nama smaran, satsanga( for Vaishnavas, Shaktas, Shaivas,Ganapatya et al).
  10. The Khandoba/Martanda Bhairava temple is beautiful. It is on a hill top around 30 kilometers from Pune on the old route to Pandharpur. It is near a small town called Saswad. Turmeric powder is very dear to him. From Pune, you can take a bus to Saswad and then from there to Jejuri- you can also get direct buses from Hadapsar to Jejuri.
  11. Dear S, Perhaps you should be doing upasana and not just kariyasiddhi. Sometimes life gives trouble after trouble- and the Goddess in her grace opens our eyes to the reality and says-' Look at me'. As far as possible, get a Guru and get initiated into the mantra of your ishta devatha. The love that is there will add to the potency of the mantra, in addition to the Guru's blessings. Maa Kali removes all darkness from ones mind( every sadness, every misfortune and anaishwaryam). She gives everything one ever needs and more. The effects of Her love and grace are all powerful and all pervasive. Not that it is easy- but its worth it. I am not sure which country you are in, but with Her grace, you can find your Guru anywhere. Find the light in your heart in Hers. Dont think I am being callous here. I have been through similar, but She lights up my heart now. Jaya Devi Durge
  12. In general swaha is used when making oblations to the fire. I have never heard of this age injunction on swaha and nahama either from any Guru parampara I have had blessings to be graced by or from any traditional books I have read. This may be so in just the tradition that the author belongs to- if he belongs to any. As for Gum or Gung, it depends again on the tradition. It is pronounced as Gum in the south and Gung in the north and east. As per rules of sanskrit- it is Gum- and remember the alphabets are supposed to mean something here- think about matruka nyasa. There is no shortage of siddhas in any region, so it would depend on Guru parampara and most importantly Guru kripa- as they say 'mantra moolam gurur vakyam, moksha moolam guru kripa'. Jaya Devi Durge
  13. There is a book on Chandi Samputs by Swami Satyananda Saraswati. You can also get more information from the Durga Saptashati/Chandi book by Gita Press Gorakhpur( available online). Also from classic books like Mantra Maharnava, Mantra Mahodadhi. Jaya Devi Durge.
  14. Dear Sambya, From the Durga Saptashati(Chandi Path)- She is indeed is a form of Chandi/Mahishasuramardhini/Durga. She is one of the forms the Devi takes to fight the armies of Shumba and Nishumba. When the Devi is asked- why are so many people on your side fighting, She says- these are all my forms and I will withdraw them into me- and so She does. Chandi/Durga/Mahishasuramardhini and Bhadrakali are indeed ugra forms and not soumya forms of the Devi. In spite of all the superstition that is around, an ugra form of the Devi is no more to be feared than you need to fear your mother when she is angry with your enemy( She is your mother- it is indeed to be expected that she will be angry when your enemies attack you). My suggestion is- look for a Devi upasaka- especially a Bhadrakali Upasaka and ask his/her help and guidance. The diety as installed in the new image will be readily awakened when done by such a person. Even a pinda roopa is sometimes good enough for the Devi. Jaya Devi Durge
  15. Namaste ! The normal procedure as I understand is 1. Japa- as many syllables in the mantra into 100000. So if you are using the navakshari(9 syllabled), it is 9 x 100000 times. If Shiva panchakshari(5 syllables) it is 5 x 100000= 500000 times. 2. Purascharana- or oblations into the fire - 1/10 of the above- so in this case 90000 times. 3. feeding of the poor, the spiritually blessed etc.. This is just the basic. Your Guru may reveal to you many other ways to do this. Also if you read classics like mantra mahodhadhi, mantra maharnava etc, they would give you much more information on what to do if it does not work the first time around. In the end it really is up to Her and when She will awaken in 'us'. Jaya Devi Durge.
