  1. Hare Krishna. It means that person is an RNS (Radhanath Swami) disciple. It can go for any guru. Eg. Radha devi dasi (GKG)- She is saying she is a Gopal Krishna Goswami disciple etc.
  2. With all respect to you- Lord Vishnu and Lord Shiva cannot be one. Why does it say vaishnavanam yatha sambuh- Lord Shiva is the greatest Vaishnava? It is like milk and yogurt. Yogurt is the transformed form of milk. Milk can become yogurt but yogurt can not become milk. I hope you see greatness in the servant also. Lord Shiva is the greatest of all Vaishnavas. He is respected from lowly people such as the ghosts and demons to high Vaishnavas. All glories to Lord Shiva the greatest Vaishnava who is known as Gopishwar Mahadeva. If Lord Shiva gives me one drop of his mercy I will consider myself extremely fortunate.
  3. Hey, at least this isn't Treta Yuga, the yuga for sacrifices. Our yuga dharma is chanting the Holy Name, something that is perfectly harmless. Instead of killing the animals, the Holy Names benefit all living entities such as the animals. All glories to Lord Chaitanya and Lord Nityananda who spread this Holy Name for the benefit of all! Hare Krishna.
  4. Your not to blame. There are such vedic practices but when people start to misuse them then a lot of trouble can arise. And when people started to misuse the Vedas and started to kill animals regularly, Lord Visnu had to come as Lord Buddha. There is nothing wrong with the Vedas, it is just that people misuse them. E.G- People might quote Lord Rama and Maharaja Yudhisthira for performing ashwamedha yajna and then start to kill hundreds of horses. I don't know anyone who has, this is just an example.
  5. Lord Chaitanya once went to the bathroom and while he was going he was biting his tounge. So his servant Gopal Guru Goswami asked him why he was biting his tounge. He said, "Well I am going to the bathroom. And my mouth is always chanting Hare Krishna. But since this a filthy place how can I chant here?" But Gopal Guru Goswami said, "But what if you left your body when you are in the bathroom?" Lord Chaitanya realized that Gopal Guru Goswami was right and started chanting again. So simply chant Hare Krishna and be happy.

There are many holy places around Ekachakra Dham like Bankim Raya Mandir, Bhandisvara Mandir, Nityananda Janmasthan , where Nityananda Prabhu has performed His lilas which currently needs lot of maintenance and care. Nitai-pada kamala, koti chandra susitala “The Lotus feet of Lord Nityananda are cooling like a milion moons”. What is the significance of constructing a temple? To help building a temple is highly glorified in vedic literatures as it offers the highest welfare to the human society by bestowing the oppurtunity to render loving devotional service to the Lord. Even by making a small contribution, one gets the full benefit of building a temple for the Lord. That is His mercy. Why is it important to Participate? Srimad Bhagavatham refers to the story of Krishna reciprocating unlimitedly to the fruit seller woman to whom for the exchange of some fruits given with love, He filled up her whole basket with gold and precious gems. In his purport, Srila Prabhupada mentions that, “With Love and affection, one should try to give something for Krishna from one’s source of income. Then, one’s life will be successful”. Glories of serving the temple as extolled by Scriptures : “Pratisthaya sarvabhaumam sadmana bhuvana-trayam Pujadina brahma-lokam tribhir mat-samyam iyat” (Srimad-Bhagavatham 11.27.52) “By installing the Deity of the Lord one becomes King of the entire earth,by building a temple for the Lord one becomes ruler of the three worlds,by worshipping and serving the Deity one goes to the planet of Lord Brahma, and by performing all the three activities, one achieves a Transcendental form like My own.” What is the history and glories of Ekachakra dham ? Caitanya Caritamrita declares that, “One should take shelter in the Lotus feet of Lord Nityananda Prabhu, for He is the original spiritual master. It is by the mercy of Nitai that we can obtain the love of Krishna”. Ekachakra dhama is known as the birthplace of Lord Nityananda Prabhu, who is understood by Gaudiya-Vaisnavas as being non-different from Lord Balarama. It is mentioned in the Caitanya Caritamrita (Adi 13.61) radhadese janmile thakura nityananda gangadasa pandita, gupta murari, mukunda “In Radhadesa, the part of Bengal, where the Ganges is not visible, Nityananda Prabhu,Gangadasa Pandit, Murari Gupta and Mukunda took birth.” In the purport to this verse, Srila Prabhupada gives a detailed description of Ekachakra. Besides being the birthplace of Lord Nityananda, the Pandavas once resided in Ekachakra with Kunti devi during their exile period. Bhima relieved the villagers from the clutches of demon Bakasura by killing him. The village of Ekachakra was formerly located at the far east end of what is now known as Birchandrapur. It was centered on the Garbhavasa, Jahnu Kunda and Bakulatala. After Nityananda Prabhu disappeared, the place slowly became deserted and later, Birchandra Gosai (the son of Nityananda Prabhu) re-established the village as Birchandrapur. He also established Bankim Raya Mandir. There are many holy sites around Ekachakra. To name a few are: Bankim Raya Mandir, Bhandiswara Mandir, Nitai Kunda, Pandava Tala, Bakula Tala, Nityananda Janmasthan. Scriptures praise the glories of Ekachakra dham as : “Without pride and false prestige, one should unhesitatingly fall down into the dust of this sacred and hallowed land. Few devotes achieve the good fortune to attain Ekachakra. Roll in the dust! Laugh! Cry !sing and dance in ecstasy, for one who has come on pilgrimage to Ekachakra has received rare and confidential mercy

  13. Oh sorry, I read your post again. It seems that you know that there is something beyond the brahmajyoti, and of course you are right. With all due respect to Vivekananda, he is a staunch impersonalist and impersonlists and Vaishnavas do not get along. The impersonists goal is to merge into the brahmajyoti when they leave their present body. They say when you are meditating on the word OM, you leave your present body and meet with the supreme and then return to the same body again. And their final theory (which I believe is rediculous) is that we are all God and right now we are in maya, so we have forgot that we are God. After chanting OM for a long time, we will get rid of our maya and we will realize that we are the Supreme Lord Himself. Now my question is- Is God capable of getting entagled into maya? Maya is the Lord's own servant and she works to entrap the jivas in her net of illusion on the Lord's order only. It is not possible for the Supreme Lord to get entagled in maya. Only the jivas can, from Brahmaji down to the lowly ant. The mayavadis have some good explaining to do. Their theories are mostly baseless, and therefore are very speculative. I am not a harsh person as it seems it my speech, however I am very strong about defeating the mayavadis. I am a humble servant in the Gaudiya Vaishnava line and I should take some burden in continuing to preach what the Supreme Lord Chaitanya Mahaprabhu did. And trust me, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu didn't let the Mayavadis preach at their will and mislead people. Lord Chaitanya was so merciful and he converted the staunch Mayavadi Prakasananda Saraswati and all of his mayavadi followers and brought them to the lotus feet of Lord Krishna. Hare Krishna. Nitai Gaura Premanande Hari Hari Bol.
  14. Yes, Ramayan is a great topic to talk about. Since your audience consists of young people keep it short and sweet. You probably know this, I am just giving you a quick reminder. Thank you so much for all your preaching efforts.
  15. Nityananda Prabhu ki Jaya! Here are some pictures from Ekachakra dhama. In order from right to left: Gaura Nitai at the ISKCON temple, ISKCON temple outside view, Nityananda Garbhavasa, Padmavati Kunda, and Bakasura's kneecap. Very inspiring, huh? You can find more pictures at http://jollyswami.blogspot.com/2007/04/visit-to-ekachakra.html. Hare Krishna!
  16. The "Spiritual Discussions" part of the website has been at a standstill. Right now we are all working very hard on our Govardhan Puja Issue of our zine and we have not had the chance to post something up. After Govardhan Puja the discussions will come up weekly, as before. We beg forgiveness for the inconvenience, and we promise things will be as before in no time at all. Thank you very much.
  17. Well yes, Lord Nityananda's mercy also includes that he will destroy the crooked mentality of such beings. I hope one day he will shower such mercy on me and also destroy my crooked mentality. Of course, I must be more sincere and eager for Lord Nityananda to do such a thing. When he comes to smash my anarthas I cannot hold on to them tightly and say, "Oh Lord, please smash my anarthas." I wish I would become more sincere.
  18. Hare Krishna. When Lord Shiva himself says he is the servant of the Supreme Lord as in the Rameshwar Mahadeva scene, and it is clearly stated: Vaishnavanam yatha sambuh, Lord Shiva is the greatest Vaishnava, then why should there be doubt in people's minds? Do you not see greatness in being a servant? Do you know how the position of a servant is just as high as that of the master? Who is worshipped more, Lord Rama or Hanuman? Can anyone say? Of course Rama is the master of Hanuman but Hanuman's spiritual position is extremely high. Hanuman is an incarnation of Lord Shiva. Lord Shiva is the highest Vaishnava and he is a guna avatar of Lord Visnu. His position is unfathomable. I discourage this useless fighting and ask that people follow this process of bhakti very seriously. Thank you.
  19. At least is it readable to you now? What do you think about these names? Please give some feedback.
  20. Prabhuji, I did notice. But if I click on it, it doesn't work. When I copy and paste this on a Word Document it says that it is Balarama font. So I really don't know what to do about this. Sorry. Yes, it might be a good idea for you to install Balarama font on your PC.
  21. Prabhuji, I don't know how to make it any better. But you can see this very clearly if you go here: http://www.nityananda.gaurangapada.com/108-holy-names.htm. I am very sorry for the inconvenience. _/\_o_.
