  1. Well, you have the right to be sceptical, I don't blasme you for that, but what made my belief in Nostradamus words more strong is the fact that in the City Hostel where I worked as a bartender, once there were some muslims playing pool and came to my bar.

I mentioned Nostradamus in the conversation and one muslim said that Nostradamus was a fraud and a con man.

Then I just knew that Nostradamus was so right, he predicts the end of islam and muslims seem to have a problem with their destiny.

So they cheat over it, that's normal.

Concerning the mention of the Ganges, I am not sure if the Ganges was known to the West in that time, especially in Avignon, where Nostradamus resided.

In the quatrain it is stated : Gang, Ind. not Gang, Jordan.....

  2. To Deathless,

Nostradamus knew about Hinduism, he saw the events of the world unfolding before his spirtual inner eye.

There is a verse which backs this up, he says that the Punic faith will be broken, it's chapter 2 verse 60, it says the following :

"The Punic faith broken in the East, Ganges, Jordan, and Rhone, Loire, and Tagus will change etc...."

He specifically speaks of the Ganges and there he says will be a change of attitude or something.

Punic faith stands for Islam and that will be broken in the aboved mentioned places.

He also says that the Gods will make it known to the mortals that they are the instigators of the Great Conflict, Hinduism is the only true religion and as I worship God Himself, Lord Krishna, Hinduism knows many Gods, especially Lord Shiva, who benedicted a guy named Mahamada to establish a terrible and demiac religion.

Trust me, Nostradamus knew about Hinduism.

  3. Hi, when I was in Budapest around 1996 I was reading the Bible in my hotelroom and read the famous verse of the number of the Beast.

It said something like this :

"The number of the Beast is 3 scores 6 thousand, six hundred and sixty six"

Then I began to count in my head and the outcome was if you add 666 3 times you come to the number of 1998 !!!

Now at that time I was thinking that something would happen in 1998, but nothing spectaculair happened.

So Nostradamus warned us 500 years ago with this verse":

    The year 1999, seventh month,

From the sky will come a great King of Terror.

To bring back to life the great King of the Mongols,

Before and after Mars to reign by good luck.

Everybody was scared that something would happen, nothing but a solar eclips occured.

In my humble opinion I think that this is the birthyear of the great King of Terror and even the month of birth is specified, july or september.

I mean, Nostradamus speaks of reincarnation here, from the sky will come a great King of Terror.

I mean, before and after 1999 there were many wars happening.

And the Bible is not too much accurate on this specific number, not like Nostradamus, 'cause in the Bible John speaks of 1.000 years of peace, but this has to be 10.000 years of peace, the Golden Age of Lord Chaitanya.

So the Beast is now 9 years of age.

So the Great War, the Great Conflict as Nostradamus speaks about will be there, instignated by the Gods, as he writes in the following lines :

"The Gods will make it known to the mortals that they are the instignators of the Great Conflict"

    Can we escape war ???

And like Prabhupada states that Napoleon and Hitler were Shaktya Avatars, so the beast must be a Shaktya Avatar as well.

    What do you think ?

In my opinion war cannot be avoided, I see too many signs already.

  4. I chant both mentally and loudly, but I prefer concentrated chanting.

I do a lot of Japa walks to an ancient village around which costs me 2 hours of walking along harsh roads with cars passing by and people looking surprisingly to my beadbag, yet, I chant concentrated, as long as my thoughts are not replacing the mantra the chanting is concentrated, the thoughts become very subtle, and I know it's better to not have thoughts at all, but a nice Japa walk in the spring sun is very nice, especially along the riverside.

  5. About this being stupid........

I also have no desire to go back eternally to where I came from, 'cause if you try to preach there about the unlimited Pastimes of Krishna or Atma Yoga philosophy (www.yogamandir.com) , the Souls there would pet my back and say in a fatherly way : "We know, my child, we know...", so what to do there....??

Don't get me wrong, I don't wanna be here eternally and I am not addicted to Maya too much, but to be there eternally....???

I must be the most fallen.......

  6.

But if they're big book distributors , they're already preachers, why do they have to lower themselves to ugh...talking to people without getting money ...

From my point of view that is the greatest thing to do, talking to people, preaching without getting money, it's true that without money no institution will last, so there has to be money, but in my experience when I was in Radhadesh, doing the guided tours, I had fun preaching our philosophy for sometimes two to three hours without even people buying books, I just liked the discussions and my efforts to persuede them in the knowledge that we are not the body nor the mind and so on, although the people paid for the guided tours. But main point for me is that this philosophy is free, it is spiritual, but money has to be there offcourse.

Anyway, it's better to get money for book distribution for the goals we have, but for me, only for me, it is not neccesary, I like to preach, even when it costs me money, call me stupid, I know.

    :crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2: :crazy2:

  7.

I always go back to my Christian roots. What they understand at least in principle is welcoming not only the stranger , but the sinner. Would that ISKCON members could embrace that.

Prabupada clearly states in the Nectar of Instruction that devotees should try to make friends with devotees.

    :deal:

Everybody is welcome to become Krishna Consciouss, and he even stated that in The Golden Age every faith and religion is free to excercise his or her religion, lovingly and attentively.

  8. Thank you, GHari....

and the others, but what I mean is to break it the next day as you can drink again, the next day Ekadasi should be broken with having only one meal, now.....is blendered bananas and oranges considered a meal or not....:eek4: ?

It might be complicated and maybe my thinking is complicated, but this question has become an issue for me, as I want to follow the rules and regulations the way they are set.

I mean, if I can break it with blendered bananas and oranges, can I have another meal in the evening then...???

    Bolo....

    ps...Murali.....pizza...???....lol....

  9. Jaya guys,

how's life..? I hope it serves you well.

Hey, I have a question that cropped up this night while chanting (yes, some unconcentrated rounds here and there).

I am a rigid follower of Ekadasi and I like to know what are the means to break Ekadasi...!!

I broke it this morning with a cup of milk, which I offered on my altar untill it became warm, well, not so long, I mean the offering, but I did let the milk stay on the altar for a while.

Anyway, I like to know if it is possible to break Ekadasi with warm milk (heated up) and added sugar, I mean, sugar is solid foodstuff, but in milk it becomes liquid a bit, right...?

Another one I was wondering about is this one, can you break Ekadasi with blendered bananas and oranges..?

I mean, it is solid, but in the blender (mixer), you mix it with water and sugar so it becomes liquid.

If you would do this, do you cheat then ???? ????

It was solid food beforehand, but it seems like a trick to make it liquid.

    Erik.
